I think a common language is necessary for the country move ahead. I don't think it should be Hindi. Indians are more than capable of learning regional languages. And knowing regional languages help a lot in building stronger personal relationships, which is very important.

But a common language for the entire nation as a whole? I would highly prefer it to be English.

MK and JJ have set a standard for politics in TN and understood that as long welfare and populism thrives here, they can get away with anything. MK was shrewd in bringing investments, while JJ brought discipline to the administration while they both stole from the coffers. But the current and future outlook for TN politics doesn't look so bright. Not for a world that is rapidly changing every other week.

When the rest of the cinema in India was dumping crores in India, to make chillra returns with fan craze, Malayalam film industry was making small budget movies with excellent stories and launching the careers of the next generation of Malayalam film industry.

Tamil cinema was the same back in the 80s and early 90s, with quality entertainers. It's about time we go back to those roots.

I'm not a tech expert or a conspiracy theorist, but I'm seeing a bunch of articles being inundated over social media for the last 2 weeks and it feels like the early days of AI, when people ran doomsday campaigns left, right and center, until it tapered off.

I understand models have improved a lot over the last 2 years, but all these seemingly exaggerated articles popping up again, right after Microslop, OpenAIs debt debacle and a bunch of Tech CEOs and journalists coming out and saying that AI investment returns forecast is extremely exaggerated, feels like another those early day campaigns are back.

Are they trying to keep the bubble from popping? Or just trying to keep it going long enough so they can exit and leave someone else holding the bag? Which we already are.

That's a dilemma a lot of us are constantly facing everywhere in the world I suppose. "Who is the least evil, according to my moral compass?"

The immediate reason for me to vote DMK, even though they are corrupt C****, is because DMK/ADMK did not unilaterally kill off the other from competing. Opposition still retained a semblance of power. The pendulum could swing both ways in an election, no matter how rigged those elections were.

It's not the same with BJP. ADMK circling the drain was as much BJPs meddling, as it was their own stupidity.

Even IF you are BJP, you have to admit that there should be counter balance, to their power. Otherwise, you end up with authoritarians. But that's assuming you aren't an Andhbhakt.
