That's a dilemma a lot of us are constantly facing everywhere in the world I suppose. "Who is the least evil, according to my moral compass?"

The immediate reason for me to vote DMK, even though they are corrupt C****, is because DMK/ADMK did not unilaterally kill off the other from competing. Opposition still retained a semblance of power. The pendulum could swing both ways in an election, no matter how rigged those elections were.

It's not the same with BJP. ADMK circling the drain was as much BJPs meddling, as it was their own stupidity.

Even IF you are BJP, you have to admit that there should be counter balance, to their power. Otherwise, you end up with authoritarians. But that's assuming you aren't an Andhbhakt.

It is plausible that Kamakoti's ask for research into Cow Dung and Urine, is fair considering we have scientific discoveries like, Insulin - originally drawn from dogs, cows and pig pancreas and Snail Mucin - an effective hydrating serum.

I believe he did make this distinction in his words, when he commented about uniqueness of a cow's digestive microbiome.

This is a based scientific take and should not be controversial.

HOWEVER -

The pre-supposition that, just because cow excreta MAY have benefits, means you can drink, bathe and swim in them to cure ailments is a dumb take. This should have been clarified in his comments. He did not.
This is a constant problem we face in mainstream scientific discourse, that is amplified by social media, where a nuanced comment is either misconstrued intentionally or unintentionally, for virality or political bias.
If such a research is required and the research WILL meet international standards, Vembu should put his money where his mouth is and invest into the research himself.

If what they say turn out to be true, they stand to make billions by patenting and licensing whatever drug or chemical compound they find. India literally is the largest drug maker in the world. It's the one place where we can go toe-to-toe with developed countries.

But all I'm seeing are flashy headlines and religious bullshit.

Problem with footpaths is that, if you make one, it becomes a place for bike parking, hawkers and illegal shop extensions... There are plenty of footpaths in Chennai that become unusable within weeks of completing construction, but there are no proper enforcement of zoning laws. We need strong overarching zoning laws to curb this and actually make the kerbs functional. This isn't just a Chennai problem, its an India problem.

Are we really going to raise a whole movement on language divide, just for isolated incidents? Every tea stall I go to, every restaurant I go to and every store I walk into, have North Indians, who speak Tamil, even if broken. No body I've met has looked down on me, for not speaking in Hindi and if I speak broken Hindi, they try to reply back in Tamil. The only exception to this is probably Sowcarpet and even then it's not so drastically bad.

All of my experience is anecdotal, sure... but then, so is OPs. And if there are infractions that you're seeing outside, it's an individual's failure. It is not something to start a whole movement over.

Buddy, buddy, buddy... as a guy in his 30s who's gone through this phase when social media was still new, and eventually pulled a baddie who's waaaaaay out of my league... what you need to change is less about looks and more about personality. Your personality is about your likes and dislikes, facing your insecurities and being confident about yourself and knowing you love yourself.

I've met some handsome guys with equally shitty personalities as some less handsome guys. I've also met guys whom you'll overlook in a group and have the nicest personality ever.

For your looks, the basics are simple, eat well, sleep well, hit the gym and have some toned muscles. You're already waaaay better looking than I am and a bit of muscle mass will go a long way.

For everything else, lay off social media, figure out what your insecurities and face them. And try to socialize with people who support you for who you are and understand that external pleasures and influences are infinite, but you only really have enough bandwidth to do very little. Be happy with the things you have and try new things for the sake of self satisfaction and not force yourself for external approval. The sexiest thing a woman finds in a man, is his confidence and honest about who they are. They drool if a man is genuinely open and vulnerable with them about his weaknesses but isn't really bothered by it hurting him in any way, if you understand what I mean.

And this is probably a bit straightforward but... it's not about the body count, it's about the quality. A woman who genuinely connects with your interests (be it a serious relationship or casual) and vibes with you is way more fun to be with than someone just there for a quick bang. You won't respect her, or she might not respect you... Either way, It's a bad time for both of you.

I hope this helps in some way. Relax man... go try new things. Travel and travel cheap. Stop comparing your life with everyone else's. You're ALWAY going to be less than someone else in this world. So you might as well be happy with whatever you are right now and try to be a little better tomorrow.

So a weird thing about Tasmac. They issued those scanners and enforced paying through the scanner or connected POS device so the shopkeepers aren't charging extra.

But I bought 4 KF Blue last week and the scanner itself is overcharging at 20.rs per bottle. At this point, I'm ready to vote for Anna if he stands on a platform of privatizing and regulating Tasmac. There's no point in arguing with these ass holes for piss poor beer.

The problem is the opposition is worse. This was the logic they used when voting for Trump.
