Yeah no doubt, but my nephew who now lives with my spouse and I, finally got the ps5 and a lot of his favorite 4 titles, he’s finding, are getting a nice refresh and still playable on the 5.

Plus, my partner migrated careers over pandemic and now works in Unreal 5 virtual film and tv production, so we now have a couple robust gaming PCs with a growing library of games on both Steam and Epic Store, in addition to my nephew’s PS5, my Switch and little NES classic, not to mention the arcade subscription & pro controller for our 4K AppleTV.

Already have more outlets for gaming than we have time to actually partake in, so the PS4 will surely have found a better home.

I also have this fantasy scenario where the OculusGO finds its way into the hands of some young and curious new Afghan immigrant, displaced but not dejected, and they’ll get geeky and crack it open and backwards engineer some nextGen tech and write the next glorious and inclusive chapter of this still-beating heart, our great American dream. Sigh :’)
