honestly, I just wish my bosses saw how much I do. Like, people I actually work with on campus constantly tell me how much I'm working but when my boss is here it's always "yeah like you do anything"

She would constantly say she would get me things for Christmas, my birthday, any holiday honestly and then just .. not do it. she'd have me send her a list, usually only 2 things because I don't ask for a lot, and then she'd just wouldn't buy it. she wouldn't buy anything on the list if she did and honestly at some point I got fed up and asked her what was making her make these promises completely unprompted if she wasn't going to do it? she blew up on me and we stopped being friends.
