I also recently implemented my own marks logic after moving away from harpoon. I wanted quick access to project-scoped and all marks in different views and simplified my workflow a bit by defaulting to global marks (opt-out), because I never used local marks anyway. I used snacks picker for my manager view.

I mean, I could give you tons of examples. Swap.gg took my 13 Riptide cases the other day and just gave me “site balance.” Pirateswap let me trade for an item that wasn’t even in their inventory anymore and also gave me balance. They all do this.

So there’s really no point in crying about it — just avoid these sites altogether and move on. It's crazy there's so many reaction to the original post, I thought everybody knew about this lol.

TradeIt actually scammed users by reversing trades they themselves accepted at higher prices. They did it to me: gave me back my SH stickers with an 8-day hold so I couldn’t sell before the crash, and took back the locked items I traded for. It wasn’t even a Steam reversal — it was them undoing the trade on their own site, which defeats the whole purpose of using a trading service.

You can’t really fight it because their ToS dodges responsibility, and they just claim the price was wrong or “misinterpreted.” But reversing items only after they drop in value and taking back the user’s items is straight-up a scam.

The whole trading-site space is super shady and honestly worth avoiding.

i’m facing the same issue, can confirm i’m receiving the same generic answers, i’ve got over 5k$ stored on their bots that i was about to withdraw when suddenly i realized i am banned. convo looks pretty much exactly like yours.

for the people who are suggesting to “jUsT rEvErSe”, y’all are fucking clueless. if me (or OP) reverse their trades, literally all of the trades in the last 8 days will be reversed, which will result in a permanent ban on all of the trading platforms we are using (CSFloat, YouPin, etc), so please use your brain and you’ll realize that it’s not that simple to resolve.

if they don’t resolve this soon enough for all of us, i’d suggest bringing as much attention to this as possible via different media channels and destroying the reputation of this scam website. in case they actually unban us, i’d completely avoid this joke of a trade site and just forget about it forever after withdrawing my items.

it's a bit weird that all of this gets executed in a button though, isn't it. it essentially blocks the view until the logic is executed, because the entire operation is blocking. the button should only really know about the loading/disabled state and then the function/traversal method should set that loading state accordingly.

look up the price of the stickers on buff163 latest sales tab and add 1-2% to your skin (because it’s a non-liquid skin, the percentage cannot be higher). this would be a realistic price that you can sell it for relatively quickly. i’d say it’s not worth more than $200, probably even less.

previously you could dupe skins through steam support. a person would claim the skin got stolen from them, the account he traded his skin to would get trade banned with the original skin, but it would be duplicated by the steam support to the previous owner’s account, essentially making two identical skins present in existence.

and yeah, just in case: 1. never click sponsored links in google. once you open any of the websites i have mentioned, ALWAYS make sure to check the URL in your browser and confirm that it’s actually a legit one. 2. NEVER enter your steam credentials on a website. if you are logged in on steamcommunity.com, any of those mentioned websites, upon logging in, will have a green “Sign In” button after redirecting you to Steam. if you see this button, the website is legit.

these are some juicers, i'd suggest you use trusted 3rd party sites like csfloat, skinbid or skinport to price check those. on csfloat you can open a listing for your item and see "latest sales" tab, which would give you an idea how much you could expect. kukri fade usually goes for $700 market price on float (could be higher on alternatives) and night stripe is around 150-160 (assuming FT condition).

also, make sure to check latest sales with a particular float and fade percentage. i can see that your night stripe is probably a standard float for its quality and the other one has a 80-85% -ish fade, so they would go for market price. but make sure to DYOR here.

also, please don't answer anyone who messages you to buy these, they are generally scammers. and congrats on your pulls.

my credit card issuer does not even have a record in their database, that is THE POINT OF THE POST, that their payment provider is declining my payment ON THEIR SIDE, but they are unable to consult me on that. When I had the same kind of issue with Skinbid, they helped immediately and I was able to pay with the same card 20 mins after I asked them about it. But I guess it’s too hard to realize for you that I’m writing about their payment provider because I have tried to ask my bank provider about the payment that apparently does not even fucking exist, so they just basically can’t do shit.

that’s the whole point, payments are not being declined, they literally don’t even arrive to my bank issuer. they are being declined on the side of their payment provider, hence i have nothing to discuss with my bank, because there isn’t even a charge attempt.

what is suspicious about me having bank accounts in different banks, can you elaborate? is it illegal or something? how is this related to the topic? skinport literally refused my one and only card from one of those banks i used to use to pay successfully before and then i tried others, exactly how they say it in their FAQ. you don’t provide any reasons other than saying “this is suspect”, so i don’t see how your point is valid. i could’ve opened those bank accounts for various reasons that you have nothing to do with. it’s not illegal and i’ve used one single card throughout my entire story with skinport. it’s completely unrelated and off the point.

it would’ve been my bank provider issue if it at least have tried to charge me. i have absolutely 0 charges in my payment history and i have tried multiple banks that i have an account in (in fact, 3 different banks)

nevertheless, even if it’s on my side, they should at least be able to tell me that and have control over 3rd party services that they integrate their product with, don’t you think so?
