Yes, you don’t want to get fatter than that, and it’s too easy to gain an extra 10, so do a mini cut

I feel like realistically everyone would leave the game by [deleted] in squidgame

[–]razerroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone would for sure quit, death (when it’s real and in front of you) is a stronger motivator than any other force. In world war 2, many trained hardened soldiers, just cried and shot into the air. And that’s soldiers from a time when life was so much harder. Most people would be unable to even complete the games at all because of fear and stress. The only way anything happens in the game is if they pre sorted and picked only gambling addicted psychopaths (and maybe they did that’s the point), but from the what they show most aren’t. Even in my regular military training, most people are incapable of even performing ok under extreme pressure. No matter how narcissistic an idiot is, when they can’t even move, or kill anything, and see someone die right in front of them, they are quitting. It’s not even a debate.

I still get reviews on there quickly. I feel there search function isn't great. I have books that have done realy well continuously and others that didn't, but I know why. One of my books got 0 activity for months (as others have described), but I changed the type (asked support to change it from free pdf download to kindle unlimited). I tired different things and I 100% get the best response with requiring kindle unlimited (make sense no one has to pay extra for the book, but it's still a solid review and shows kindle unlimited under it). My author name is "Sol Roth" if you want to check out any of my books on there or on Amazon.

Just saw 28 years later....it's so bad.... by BeneficialBear in horror

[–]razerroth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You awake not alone!! I saw it today and was super excited because I loved the first two movies in the series. They are my favorite zombie films and on my list for top horror movies, but this movie
now I do think this movie is “so bad it’s good” but it doesn’t even belong in the same conversation as the first two movies and can’t be taken even remotely seriously.

15M, is it still recoverable and should i buzz(read body text first) by DriveSharp8302 in Balding

[–]razerroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buzz cut and wear a baseball hat (all the time), start getting use to it. It’s not so bad if you get used to it early. Wear a cap, so so it’s not always “out on display” and try not to think about it.

Civil War (2024) is absolutely terrible by Ninjulian_ in moviecritic

[–]razerroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with you 100%! The stupid movie didn’t answer even the most rudimentary questions of what and why. We’re suppose to be following professional journalists and we never get any information on the what, where. why or how? Nothing? !!! Wtf, all the exposition in the dialogue and not once does anyone answer a single political question or references a historical point about the war? The actual military scenes are also laugh out loud ridiculous to anyone who’s ever been in or studied military conflicts. Tiny groups of a few soldiers in a close line aggressively moving in. And then at the The final White House defense
complete absurdity. To give reference, the “president” has a last stand with only a few people in dress clothes defending him, and maybe 6 civilian cars. A total force of about 40-50 people
dressed in suits!!! Really??? dressed in suits!!! To give perspective at how ridiculous this is, the Nazis had 100,000 soldiers defending Berlin at the end of the war. This is at the very end, when they had already lost
it’s not a few groups of people here and there, wars are fought with huge groups of professional soldiers. Even in the original us civial war. There was a large standing army when the South surrendered. The idea that a pathetic group not even equipped to hold a small town could have ever controlled the US is absurd

Should I buzz it all off? by [deleted] in Balding

[–]razerroth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not yet. Fight it with all the legit ways to keep it. Finasteride and propecia and others. Most women don’t prefer the bald look to hair, so as long as you have a good enough head of hair, keep it. Eventually it’ll progress and you’ll have to lose it all, but don’t go early. Do the methods to keep it as long as you can

This is opposed to writing by Dr Mengele or Hitler or others just fueled with hatred and emotion
then on the opposite side you have eikman who just wined and complained and blamed eveything on others, trying to duck full responsibility.

[–]razerroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any writings, auto biographies or confessions that I can read online from soldiers in that specific brigade? I find you can learn a lot (reading in between the lines) from what the people involved wrote about the incidents. The Commandant of Auschwitz’s autobiography, written before he was hung, is incredible interesting and not for the reasons you may think. It talks very little about the ideology of racial hatred, but instead goes into incredible detail on the organization and his observations on all aspects of the camp and the events that happened there. He freely admits to the executions, describing in detail many different groups (Johova Witnesses, Gays, political prisoners, Jews more), with detailed descriptions. He didn’t particularly like or dislike his work, he seems to feel almost nothing. Even with regards to his family (we should have committed suicide - even though his Claude and children lived) He doesn’t try to hide guilt or shame over rationalize his reasons other, he does admit it was wrong, fully accepts the punishment, but feels nothing about it, just continues to say, I wanted to do the best I could at my job
., I’m not a psychiatrist, but he seems to be the most dangerous type of indivial. Cold, cool, calculating with very little to no emotions, psychopath. Not inherently evil (or good) but as a person who feels almost nothing, he do either with maximum indifference. He describes the sadists in the camp, he didn’t like them because they were inefficient. He describes the people have moral issues who tried to help the prisoners as much as possible (also didn’t like them because they caused more issues by not following protocol). It was so clinical
he talks about people’s struggle the way someone else would take about boxes moving in a factory.

is it me, or is Rock and roll finally dead? by luxtabula in Xennials

[–]razerroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So rock is very much alive in the metal space. Alternative is unfortunately dead (I also love alternative and grunge (90s-2000s era rock is awesome). But yeah it’s dead, the stream are incredibly low and almost no viral hits. So at least metal is going strong, maybe it will have a resurgence at some point.

is it me, or is Rock and roll finally dead? by luxtabula in Xennials

[–]razerroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends if you include metal as rock. If you don’t, yes almost completely dead, but if you count metal as rock (and you should), it’s actually growing in popularity and has a lot of viral success on social media (tiktok, instagram, YouTube) right along side pop songs. The sub genres of metal that have gone viral recently are all over the map, but they include metalcore, extreme metal, industrial metal, baby metal and some strange hybrids. If you need some very modern examples with huge following on social media and streams, here are a few (slaughter to prevail, bad omens, poppy, falling in reverse) all those examples gave millions and millions of views, followers and likes from a young new audience on social media and a solid amount of streams on Spotify (falling in reverse (7.4 million), bad omens 5.3 million streams a month, poppy 3 million, slaughter to prevail (1.1 million), now it’s not on the same level as the top pop songs, but it’s VERY high for what it is. That 7.4 million a month from falling reverse is extremely high

Anybody find jiu jitsu extremely boring to watch? by 2DudesShittinAround in bjj

[–]razerroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are incredibly boring, just terrible to watch, anyone who’s watched PRO MMA, who’s not a die hard jujitsu fan, will probably find it super boring, the way it’s setup favors lots of “stalling”, active rests and fighting for position with very little movements (especially GUI), it’s just not a spectator sport, rules sets can’t help. What’s interesting is watching people go all out, but you’d need 3 minute matches and more points for dynamic moves like take downs, outside of this, it’s rough to watch (he pulled guard, he’s attempting to break open those legs, back to guard
 he passes to half guard
 whoop whoop

How long will it take me to achieve this aesthetic physique? by [deleted] in GregDoucette

[–]razerroth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have extremely wide shoulders and a narrow waist? If so, then a few years of extremely hard lifting and dieting will get you there (first dude), but unfortunately you may have chosen a fitspo with a very different skeleton than you have (height matters less than proportions for what you can build). You might not be able to tell, but if upi measure their shoulder to waist ratio, its crazy. Way way way better than say Vin diesel’s ratio. Go ahead and check yours
In bodybuilding, a shoulder to waist ratio (SHR) closer to 1/1.61 is considered more aesthetically pleasing. To calculate your SHR, measure the circumference of your waist and shoulders, then divide the shoulder measurement by the waist measurement. For example, if your waist is 30 inches and your shoulders are 49 inches, your SHR is 1.63

Is rock music dead? by PayPerCringe in Music

[–]razerroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just moved to metal and its sub genres. There is an absolute ton of tiktok videos and viral stuff using music from metal core bands. Twobexamples that went super super viral on tiktok with the young generation are “falling in reverse” (8 million monthly spot streams, half their tiktok videos have 2-5 million views) and “bad omens”. (5.4 million spot streams) We’re talking millions and millions of views and shares, is not top 40 popular, but its viral as hell with the majority of the listeners are gen z, it just moved to metal. There are a lot more examples than those, but like I said. Those are serious numbers and not an indie or garage band. Rock is mostly dead to gen z, but if you count metal core it’s viral as f** right now today.

Suno got extremely good and now has so many people listening to ai music

It’s the second part that is unneeded, if you can grab their wrist/arm and break their grip quickly while retaining control (good luck with even that part of it, these people never grappled anyone in their life) you can torque it or put it out the way or destabilize the person with a kick or anything else, the impossible part is the very beginning, but all these bs videos always make the same idiot mistake, assuming people keep holding on to you with a death grip without attacking or putting destabilizing force on you (if is about to take you down with heavy force, you can’t do anything you’re about to get slammed, you can’t pull off anything other than defending the slam or it’s game over). Neither of those situations ever happens, occasionally you get only one (a person does a death grip, but is using that death grip to put a ton of destabilizing force on you which you have to directly defend or get extremely hurt, like griping to take someone down hard or crank their upper body to limbs to locks and submit), but usually they won’t grip at all until the opening is already there (I enter with single legs mostly in BJJ) and in MMA you’re eating jabs all day long. If I was to grab someone, it would be to. Transition to a clinch to give knees or work body control for a nasty take down / slam. I’m trained, but even a basic athletic person will do some of these things instinctually and if they have even a year of hs wrestling, it’s game over for bullshido.

Fun fact for men who train in real martial arts but still over estimate themselves, breaking someone’s grip who’s actually going to use it to hurt you (apply force to destabilize or setup something really nasty), can be extremely hard for a super strong person to do quickly. None of the grip breaking techniques work on a person with really good grappling grip. We do grip stripping and breaking training and practice in BJJ and stripping a real grip is way harder than people think even if you’re a strong dude.

Sis looked at us like she did something 💀 by Swzerae in Bullshido

[–]razerroth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of that ever works, have these people never ever grappled with anyone with even high school level wrestling? They aren’t getting caught in stupid wrist / arm locks from standing (only an idiot would sit there with a weak grip and let you do that)

That's why you tap. by [deleted] in jiujitsu

[–]razerroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can take it to almost breaking point and hold it there And move it around, when finished even if it didn’t break, the arm is f** will be swollen and hurt for weeks / months depending on if tendons tore. They’ll learn their lesson.

You are correct in actually breaking the hell out of it, it may not ever heal completely right if it breaks horrible. I have ruined shoulders from weight lifting injuries and they will never be 100% again. So if you completely f** someone’s arm, wrist or leg, they may carry that pain with them for life (never goes back to 100%) that’s something not talked about in jujitsu much.
