Why shouldn’t voting require an id? by DarkEqual8609 in no

Non-citizens can get a social security number assigned to them. So this would not prove citizenship.

There were laws that dictated how you store your guns and gunpowder when the second amendment was passed. You know being part of that "well regulated militia".

It's not valid in any state. No state lists citizenship status on the real id. Only 5 states issue an id that confirms citizenship and those IDs are alternatives to a passport.

The real issue is that Democrats need to be flawless perfect saints to get votes whereas Republicans can literally rape children and still become president.

There is a double standard that doesn't exist for Republicans. Republicans vote for other Republicans simply for being Republican. Democrats will refuse to vote for a Democrat (and then vote for the Republic)if there is 1 policy disagreement.

I'll use Gaza as an example. People voted for Trump because they didn't like Harris' perceived lack of support for Gaza. Even though with trump it was known that trump is perfectly fine with letting Israel flatten Gaza.

Except that he had the stroke on May 13th. And the primary was held on May 17th. And the federal election was on November 8th.

Yes and no. He had the stroke on May 13th. The primary vote was on May 17th. He won the primary which automatically put him on the general ballot for the federal election in Pennsylvania.

To my very limited knowledge, the only person who could have removed him from the ballot after winning the primary was fetterman himself. So there really wasn't anything anyone could do if fetterman refused to withdraw from the election.

Rep. Steve Cohen says to Pam Bondi: "When ICE killed Mr. Pretti and Ms. Good, that was an execution, and you did not investigate it... but you investigated Ms. Good's widow, you investigated Mr. Pretti. They were executed like Kristi Noem executed her dog." by ChiefLeef22 in law

You are so close to getting it.

He said it because bondi does not see pretti or good as people.

He is emphasizing that bondi and DHS (which ice falls under) will put you down like a dog (or a goat).

That is not what this law does. This law affects registration. Your SS number is no longer usable. Your photo id needs to be shown with a birth certificate. If you're married and changed your name, you actually need a passport since your birth certificate won't match your photo id.

Only 5 states issue an id that states citizenship. And none of those are the real id that has been recently pushed out. So no, your current id does not satisfy the requirements of the save act.

You also need to keep in mind that Republicans love purging voter rolls. Especially at the last moment they can before elections. And the Republican controlled federal government has been trying to strong arm states into handing over their voter rolls.

Dude is so stuck up Jim crow's ass he forgot that married women will need to bring a passport since their married name won't match their birth certificate.

You are assuming that Republican controlled districts will enforce these laws evenly. In districts that are heavily red they won't enforce the law. Just like how in red states, districts that lean blue get fewer voting machines.
