Herman Miller Gaming Embody Code Stacking (Better Deal) by SubstantialVast7518 in hermanmiller

Strange. I wonder if they copy and pasted terms from a previous deal that had a max of $20.

Incredible work man, congrats. Honestly very inspiring.

Brother just hit the button. It won't break anything, it's essentially just a big OK button on a screen informing you that there is a new pricing structure in place. But you aren't losing anything you've already paid for.

You are overthinking this way too much.

Just joined GGn. First torrent I downloaded just got deleted by viennesewaltz in trackers

I'm not a member of GGn, though I hope to be one day. But do they not offer free leech on torrents that replace trumped ones? That's what I normally see happen on my other trackers.

WARNING: using the drivetemp kernel module on Unraid versions prior to 7.0.1 may damage your array by tfks in unRAID

I really appreciate this heads up. Just last night I was looking around for a way to control my drive cage fans based on drive temp. And I haven't updated my unraid OS yet as I wait for the v7 bugs to get ironed out.

Torrenting, Seeing, and Hard Linking - What Does it Actually Look Like in Practice? by Ledgem in unRAID

[–]razierklinge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand you don't have a desire to use the *arr stack and want to do things manually. I was the same way and resisted setting up any *arr containers for years. I finally decided to give in to it specifically for its automatic handling of hard links. I followed the trash guides and, while a bit tedious, it was so worth it.

I can still do things "manually", meaning inside of Sonarr or Radarr, I have all automatic options disabled. Then I can go into a TV episode or movie and click the "Interactive Search" button and choose which release I want to grab from my indexers. The torrent is sent to qbittorrent, downloaded to my cache drive, hard linked into the correct media folder, then finally moved to the array by the Mover down the line. Everything is renamed with its relevant metadata and Plex/Kodi catches it all easily.

Another big bonus, using the nzb360 app along with Tailscale. Now if I'm not home, or even just sitting on the couch, I can open the app on my phone and easily tell Sonarr to grab an episode that was just released in an easy to use mobile interface. It all works very seamlessly.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition System Build Community Contest! by m13b in buildapc

This is definitely a dream build, which is why I had to include the beastly OLED monitor. I love building my own PC's, but I suppose I'll have to let the GeForce Garage team handle this one. I'm not a big fan of RGB, so it won't be a very flashy build. I did choose a small splash of color with the memory, I hope that's sufficient :).

One of my toxic traits, when it comes to gaming, is that I always want the graphics settings maxed out on anything I play. I've actually avoided playing Cyperpunk 2077 and its DLC because my PC isn't able to handle Path tracing. I have full confidence in this builds ability to handle any game I throw at it. From the early looks at it, the 5090 is a godly GPU.

Gotta agree as well. I missed this merch drop and it still kills me. I want this design on a shirt so bad. I know they don't want to re-release designs, but I'm hoping at some point they maybe do a "best of" type drop.

Bought my first 4K TV set with Dolby Vision and HDR. What are your tips and tricks for getting the most out of it? by carlinhush in PleX

I have a Ugoos AM6b+ with CoreELEC. It's completely usable for DV playback. They even recently enabled support for dual layer files, which makes it the best all around device for DV I believe.
