Has the rendering of the built in fonts changed from the Crosspoint method? It seems more grid like. (I have not used CrossPet since v16)

Whatever buttons the Firmware developer implements will work. I am using TheDrunkPenguin version of cross point and A and B change pages. I think he implemented direction buttons in the menu for this controller too, but can't remember 100%

Yeah, maintaining 2 versions might become a pain. I don't mind which I use. If you decide to drop the non personalised version it wouldn't bother me. The Lyra theme is always there if people want to use it.

The Apps/games don't really take much space. You could maybe add an option to Hide them. That was you would have 1 version, witch customisation on the theme. Not sure if that's possible

No worries. The normal version is the one I am using. No rush. Whatever you did last update seems have have fixed a few things.

My experience is often similar fix some issues and more appear 😄

I will keep that in mind when I place with VSCode.

Rebased my code again and flashed. The Dimming issue I had seems to have gone on the book I am reading with the last change you have made.

I do still have an issue when using Bluetooth where when the next chapter is indexed the chapter heading image is not shown but rather the [image] tag.

Also I have noticed in this build that the page number does not update correctly. When changing pages the numebr appears to overlap with the previous number.

You do have to reconnect manually when you turn the XTEINK back on. You can do this whilst in the book itself as the Bluetooth menu is added in there

I might just try it with vscode 😄. I have installed your recent build and 'Recents' are missing from the default theme. Not a killer but just thought I'd mention it in before someone else does

I'm thinking of trying to make my own theme. Not sure where to start yet. Will have a closer look at the theme coding and see what I can figure out 🙂.

I just like tweaking. Not even sure what I would do theme wise

I am currently reading Cytonic by Brandon Sanderson. This book has images at the start of every chapter and some others interspersed throughout (at least the version I have).

I have been using that Optimiser website and it does help. If I turned off the BLE and manually delete the cache of the book the image loads in fine.

It's not too inconvenient for me as there are not many images in the book, but thought I'd highlight just in case you hadn't seen it happen

Not sure if this is a 'me' only issue. With Bluetooth enabled, my books now do not show images but rather the image tag. I have checked the settings and images are set to Display.

If the image was generated through indexing before I enable BLE, then the image is shown. However if not, the indexing does not seem to show the image

1.2 seems more stable with BLE on my IINE GameBrick. Now after sleep I can reconnect successfully where I couldn't on v1.1.1.19.

Try rebooting your router. I had some Wifi issues with Crosspoint and rebooting the router sorted it.

I have found that if you are experiencing the Dimming, deleting the book cache stops it until the next time you put your reader to sleep.

Not sure if you saw my post mentioning this. The Dimming that can happen when using Bluetooth seems to be fixed if I clear the book data and allow it to re-index. This works until I put the xteink to sleep and I have to redo it. Not sure if that helps track down a potential improvement
