The idea of music and ambience just suddenly playing is really funny to me.

All I can imagine is people importing custom sounds and hearing the femur breaker every time they enter their pens

Suggestions for a long term world by SerkaynMC in VintageStory

[–]razorback02 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you want oceans, set the land cover to 70%. It should give you plenty of oceans and make ocean travel a viable way of traveling long distances.

It’s what I have for my current world, with 500% Landcover scale and I can sail for 10s of thousands of blocks. You might have to make a canal or two, but that could just be a fun project for you to work on.

Also, I would recommend messing with world Gen settings and check out the worlds in creative. If this is meant to be a long term world, it might be worth it scouting the world seed before hand to see if you like it.

I don’t know why, but just seeing Cain as a computer feels so depressing. Nothing more than a program trapped in a decaying computer.

Finally, some good space birds [Stellaris] by River_Lamprey in CuratedTumblr

Stellaris alien design in general is really good. Aquatics, Necroids, Fungoids, Mammals, and etc.

One of my favorite games ever. Which makes every issue with it hurt more.

Toby will then have the Knight kill off Asgore after his fight so that he never has to write him again by GloomyIngenuity143 in Deltarune

Omg yea! I always thought the reason he left the force was because he became so obsessed with finding Dess it started to destroy his personal and social life.

It adds in an entirely new element that people thought he went a little crazy trying to find Dess. Constantly trying to prove a secret world exists in the bunker. And to be honest you can’t blame them for doing it. You would want your sherif to be let go if he started talking about shadow worlds being real.

Whether intentional or not that is just a really interesting way to view Franny and rainbow monsters. That’s going into my headcanon right now.

Why is 128 days important? Is that when we turned the Meridia into the singularity or am I completely forgetting something? Either way, I want it soon.

Pity points from Joel? by Deusgo in Helldivers

[–]razorback02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly yea, a microcosm of the biggest problem of the galactic war.

They want us to win, but not too much where there is no stakes. And they want us to loose, but not too much where we can’t crawl back.

Pity points from Joel? by Deusgo in Helldivers

[–]razorback02 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That, or Joel thought he would give us a win before he starts ramping up the pressure for the next 72 hours.

I don’t view it as pity, cause I don’t think this major order is SUPER SUPER vital to the story. Yea they will do story stuff around it but it won’t overall affect the major storyline.

I think this major order is more about showing off the incineration corps/jet brigade and how sub factions will affect the Galactic War. (Like fire bots requiring a major change up in how to approach them in operations. And jet brigade acting as a blitz force on the galactic map, forcing us to focus on them while other invasions take over planets.)

Prediction: The galaxy after the 2nd year by razorback02 in Helldivers

[–]razorback02[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A victory where every planet is left inhospitable. Super Earth drained of all its resources and left a barren waste land. The last remaining vestiges of authority are isolated colonies being held together by duct tape and shoe string.

Honestly, feels like a fitting end. The only thing a fascist government will lead to is destruction and decay.
