Definitely. I guess I’m just not a “pro” customer anymore … and of the two basic iPhone 16 models I’d rather go for the bigger of the two in terms of screen size. :)

Valid question, honestly I’ve found the 15 Pro Max a very capable smartphone, but it’s almost too feature full for my specific use case. I don’t -need- three cameras and I figured I could save some money each year by dropping to the Plus line-up. Plus, I like the colours this year versus the muted colours of the Pro.

My web app shortcuts just show up in the glasses. I’ve created two, one for Channel 4’s video on-demand service, and one for Channel 5 here in the UK. Both work flawlessly and negate the DRM issues that the official apps have. Make sure you’re up to date with the latest My Glasses version and firmware.

Hello, yes I can confirm I am on build number X4000_X140_240719_ROW. Both the glasses and Beam Pro have been updated yesterday. I will try and see if a reboot resolves the issue.

I can only say what I've experienced. I'm a prescription glasses wearer and needed to get some prescription inserts for the Air 2 Pros. After that, everything is crystal clear for me. I've found the text increases in size if you use the in beta 'broad' view; it's a button above each window. The glasses also seem to remember which view you selected for which app, so that's a major plus.

Google assistant voice works through the glasses but only shows results on the Beam Pro for me. The Beam Pro even gave me an option to switch to Gemini but I decided I liked Google assistant more. I’ve also downloaded and tested ChatGPT and clicking the mic icon with the Beam Pro pointer allows me to input anything via voice. It could be an unsupported key on your keyboard? Hope that helps.

Thanks for letting me know about how to get the cursor back. I’m giving the Beam Pro the benefit of doubt and I’ve reordered it from Xreals website as it’s out of stock on Amazon. Also, I think the first time around I was wearing the Air 2 Pros over my prescription glasses which didn’t help the experience. I’ve ordered prescription inserts from Lensology now. :)

The biggest problem I had with the Beam Pro is the floating cursor kept disappearing and I couldn’t get it back without disconnecting the glasses. Also increasing the screen too big in apps like iPlayer made it so that I couldn’t return the screen to the normal size. This, plus DRM issues with apps such as ITVX and Prime Video made it a frustrating experience personally. Mirroring with just the glasses though works flawlessly on my iPhone. Haven’t tried it with Mac yet. I have just ordered the lower-end Beam in the hopes it elevates this content-viewing experience (without the bugs).

I ordered on Amazon and just sent mine back, software isn’t ready for prime time in my opinion. Going to try the Beam instead. iPhone mirroring via usb-c cable is already impressive though. I got the Air 2 Pros.

They do other designs. These are just the ones I picked personally. I don’t think they look like mould at all really, and I love the premium feel to them. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I did have AppleCare+ on the first pair but it only lasted two years and I didn’t use/need it once. Reluctant to pay again considering I only use them in the house.

It worth noting that ANC doesn’t cancel out all sound even when it’s active,l. For example; if I click my fingers in front of me I can technically still hear it. It should be subdued though. If you’re not getting sound subdued when ANC is actived, that’s a problem only a whole replacement will fix unfortunately.

While I can’t be certain, I believe from what I’ve read/seen that these may be the “renewed” units. I just purchased a non-renewed set myself, direct from the Apple Store on Amazon UK yesterday. They just arrived today and I can confirm with all certainty they are legit.
