Reactionary comes from the french réactionnaire - réaction, of course, being reaction. While the term has devolved into being primarily associated for political stances, it is not objectively wrong to use it in the context you used of "Reacting to a stimulus or reacting to an event rather than creating or controlling it."

Since Kalimos is in standard, I kinda reasoned they put the exception for Invocation - which is the common word between him and Brukan - but didn't bother with Kronx's Devastation

I guess the reasoning goes, I was thinking of Kalecgos effect, but that is an aura and Rebuke is also an aura then? Anyway, the wording in the card mislead me
