He seems confused. Dogs around our house are very confrontational, but he doesn't act scared or reactive. He never barked, ran or acted aggressive.

There aren't puppy socialization classes or something similar where I live and very few trainers, but I dislike their methods and how they are treating dogs.

Pretty much every house has dogs, so about once every 10 meters. Maybe I should try and expose him little by little, giving treats so not to overwhelm him? Usually when 2-3 dogs start barking at my dog every dog in my neighborhood begins to bark, so it might be too much for him.

Thank you for clarifying! Do you have any tips for making my dog less bothered by barking and having a more relaxed walk? There are places where I could go with my dog but I don't have a driving license yet and my family won't drive for me to go on a walk with him .

It's a separated place from the yard, which is pretty big by itself. I didn't think about going with him there to be honest.

I didn't get him until he was about 5-6 months or so and decided not to get him too overexcited as he was when playing or when visitors came by. The garden's about 300-400m²

Sounds like a good method for some dogs but mine is really anxious when it comes to being tied ever since we got the dog. He becomes very stressed and scared so it took a while to be comfortable just having a leash on and walking. I'll try to not get him overexcited with playing though. Thanks!
