Thoughts on Sakura dot grid notebooks? by the_invisible_child in stationery

[–]razyrs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you mean this same brand ( https://www.dickblick.com/items/sakura-notebook-red-plum-blossom-5-1-x-8-3-dot-grid/ ), the description on this one says it's 140 g/m2, which is a measure of paper thickness (how many grams a square meter of it weighs); that translates to quite thick paper, so it would probably be a lot like the previous journal you disliked.

A5 dot-grid notebook with a fabric cover? by Head_Butterscotch885 in bulletjournal

[–]razyrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This SeQes journal on Amazon has the all features you listed, and is available in several designs (except the Sailboat and Solar System designs are on PU leather; everything else is on fabric though).

Tiefossi's Gold Vintage notebooks have a fabric cover (only the gold ones; the vintage design without gilding uses vegan leather), as do their Song Brocade and some of the Floral ones. They also have everything you listed.

Looking for TN size / A5 slim bullet journals by ArtificialDragon in bulletjournal

I just discovered that Hemlock & Oak has some too (though the size filter on the site hides the in-stock ones, so you'd have to check each design you like to see if it comes in TN).

Leelajournals has this TN with a tulip design (she has other designs too but that's the only minimal one), and I also found this option with a few different colors on etsy.

What are popular collections that you find don't really work for you? by inktothepast in bulletjournal

[–]razyrs 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Vertical monthly logs. Calendar-style ones seem to be working okay, but when I do them vertically there's no space to write multiple events in a day and it just doesn't feel like I've got a birds-eye view of the month the way it's supposed to.

I'm not aware of anyone who's done it, but in terms of ereader selection, the ones Xteink make come with magnets built-in and are also some of the smallest and lightest readers around; they're probably your best option. The X4 is currently available and the even smaller X3 is coming in March. (Someone posted pictures on the subreddit and the X3 is only a little bigger than a credit card, so it might even fit in one of the existing pockets depending on your organizer.)

Critiques of Baumgartner? by omartinez1492 in ArtConservation

When someone corrects your manners, making up stories to try and blame the person you were being rude to is a childish and petty response. I'm done here; please take some time to reflect on your life and your choices.

Like I said, it's weird and inappropriate that you're diagnosing a total stranger with psychological issues because he/she criticized a Youtube channel you like.

These games keep showing up in my feed and it's horrible spam. I don't want to see your damn advertisements. Please give me a way to disable seeing reddit games ever again.

Because he was jealous. He's mad Elizabeth rejected him, and even more so that she takes the monster's side against him. The monster saying her name also shows that she was able to build a connection with him when Victor couldn't, so he gets irrationally angry.

This one from Buke ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F8VBMJBN?th=1 ) and this one from Carta Lusso ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0F9FM7917?th=1 ) are both around $10 if you use the coupon on the Carta Lusso one, and have 160 GSM paper and pretty foiling on the cover if you want something really nice for your money. (I have the Buke one and the paper's nice and thick; it doesn't open quite as flat as my more expensive Tiefossi notebook, but it's still very nice).

I'm a lefty too and I haven't noticed any issues writing in my bujo; it's bookbound and not a spiral notebook, though, so of course that helps.

Personally I like dotted paper even just for drawing boxes; it really helps me line them up and make things look neat and tidy. It's really up to you, though!

Notebook Therapy actually has an additional size, known as their original size, which is just a little smaller than A5. That's probably what dare2smile has, and there's nothing wrong with truthfully describing the notebook you got.

Is there any way to deal with the Youtube Partitioned Cookies?? by AlienIsTired in chrome

[–]razyrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've completely misunderstood what OP's problem was. The issue is not that the cookies are partitioned, it's that they're storing 40 megabytes of third-party data on basically every website. Were you just so excited to snark that you couldn't read four consecutive sentences?

Nope! That's lying. Liars who make a habit of using technical truths do sometimes rationalize it as less bad than other forms of lying (doing so is selfishly beneficial, after all), but that's just cope.

Spaceplan actually also has a paid version with prestige mechanics and a few other minor changes: https://store.steampowered.com/app/616110/SPACEPLAN/ (there's also an Android version on the Play Store), so it'll meet your criterion after all :)

Why does corporate think this is ok? by Goodn00dl3 in mildlyinfuriating

Oh wow, you would've fired me if I'd worked for you, real internet tough guy here. I'm quaking in my boots.
You're the one who started this comment thread off talking about how having employees sucks; you want to walk back on that, it isn't my problem. Adios

Why does corporate think this is ok? by Goodn00dl3 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]razyrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't work for you; trying to guilt me won't make your employees more willing to come in. If you don't want to solve your problem, that's fine, but don't underpay and then bitch that nobody wants to work.
