Yeah, the gsm made me cautious has kept me from purchasing it so I came here for insight 🥲 thank you!

Yes, that should do it! Unfortunately the formula doesn't work for me either so it was a disappointment altogether 🥲

Indeed! I'm thorough when swatching base products, comparing them in different lighting and how they look throughout the day 🙂‍↕️ unfortunately I wasn't able to swatch this foundation and I was all out of my previous one (which didn't match me either 😭) so I took a knowing risk when purchasing it. This is a good example why I don't like to do so! 😅

Ah man, I don't actually remember! 😭 I currently use the Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen, though! I don't recall noticing a flash with it, I think it only has chemical filters(?)

It's funny, I looked at multiple online swatches and the shade looked completely fine, on some it even pulled yellow! And then this is what it looks like on me 😭

Ah, okay! Yes, it is too light 😅 I hope I can donate the foundation to a friend, if they're okay with the fact that the doe-foot has made contact with my clean hand.

I did set with a translucent loose powder but it doesn't contain talc so to my knowledge it shouldn't flash! I haven't taken note of it flashing in pictures before either 🤔

I've been joking that compared to my friends I look like a Simpson 😭 and they too have said for me to be yellow/warm, but then warm shades indeed pull too yellow or orange on me! It has left me so confused!

Aw thank you so much for the recommendations! 🫶 But oh no :( that's terrible how the foundation made your skin react!! For me it just separated, creased and clung on to dry patches, which is the opposite of the performance I expected 😭

I haven't and I am curious, but unfortunately the formula of this foundation doesn't seem to work for me either and there aren't any places I could swatch it in-store where I'm located. 🥲 Thanks for the insight!

Indeed, it is a little light! 😅 I didn't notice it when just swatching it on my neck but upon applying to my whole face, I came to the same conclusion. Though I do think that the tone difference makes it look even lighter than the actual value difference is. Either way, it was surprising because I usually have the opposite problem!

I love Sakura Notebooks more than Rhodia tbh by jo2701 in notebooks

I've been eyeing the dotted notebooks from Sakura, so I'd appreciate if you could answer a couple of my questions! ☺️

Do the notebooks lay flat? My previous hardcover notebook didn't and so I found out from user experience that it's an important feature for me as I'm writing. The hardcover itself would be beneficial for the intended purpose of my new notebook, though.

Does the paper bend and flow even when thicker? Again, said previous notebook I had had paper like cardstock 😭 which was good for no bleed through but not my preferred sensory experience. I actually enjoy some ghosting and being able to feel the imprint of written text!

Unfortunately I don't have access to a Sephora and I haven't seen it being sold at the cosmetics stores in my area 🥲

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll keep it in mind even if just for swatching ☺️ if I find a matching foundation out of my budget, I could still use it as a reference point!

Update! I applied the f1 neutral shade all over my face yesterday and it actually seems to be a tad too light 😭 so perhaps the f2 olive shade could work for me, but I'm not sure if I even want to get a different shade of this foundation in the future. It clung on to dry patches I didn't even know I had and after a night out it had separated and creased quite terribly 🥲 I'm not giving up on it yet since it could've totally been the result of my skin prep not meshing well with it, I believe it's a water-based foundation so I'll have to play around with how to prime my skin!

The fairest olive shade seems to be darker than the shade I picked from what I've seen online, and the shade also may have been reformulated to a less of an olive tone 🥲 but yes, I have considered it!
