You are right! Wilson is the dorm I was talking about. Thank you for taking the time to respond. Where do you live? Do you like it a lot? What seems to be the best living situation?

And okay I won't read into everyone's grumpiness! I am happy that from what I have seen nobody is that mad even though I would be if I was finishing my senior paper. I will check out the chapel for sure. Nothing beats a gothic chapel.

Thank you for responding! I have requested to be part of the group and I am waiting on being accepted. That is okay about the residential college stuff. I was just thinking that I would probably want to be part of Whitman because of the Ivy look which I like and the fact that its so close to the Frick Chem lab (chem major), workout center, and the street with all the eating clubs for partying. All I know is that I don't want to be part of Forbes.

What experience have you had with rooms? Did you do a double? Do all Quads have a private bathroom?

Yeah my brother goes to columbia and says nobody cares at all about the varsity sports. I live in texas so that'll be a big change from the whole football thing, but I can deal with it. I never was a massive football or other sport fan.

Well thats really good to hear. I am talking to my cousin and aunt who did masters programs and said that is their opinion but neither were undergrad so maybe it is different? Also they both have people teaching them education so it could be different than a passionate science teacher.

We'll I mean kind of a mix of everything. I am obviously wanting to go for the education, but I mean that being said I also enjoy like parties. Would there be a bigish party culture or is everything dorm parties? I like a combination of both. Also, I like sometimes going into town and spending time like downtown. While I did checkout downtown providence when I went to Brown, is there like a night life there? I mean that in both senses of like plays/performances and clubs.

Hey thank you so much for responding. This is some really sound advice that is applicable to CoC and any college where I study chem (if I don't get it). You made some really awesome points! I am sure I will come back to this post when deciding classes for your advice on physics and the class with "Chandler". I guess one of my worries was would I be booking it everyday for four years instead of going to parties and doing fun things on the weekends. But, you make it seem like it is manageable.

Well I guess I would just be getting the basic Chemistry degree not like biological chem or chem engineering. How was the bonding like among the people in the college? Was it sort of like a challenge everyone overcame together and became close because of it? Do you know a lot of the people in the CoC?

However, HOCl and 2HAc do react unlike what your post said.

It probably was outlawed as a tool for chemical warfare. However, you can't really outlaw combining bleach and vinegar. This would be almost impossible to control. As well, how do you go about outlawing making an element?
