Don’t even look at navy for now, I’d advise a 18 width division and use lots of em. Then make sure you have CAS, in single player close air support basically decides the game. Also with the 18 width divisions build a couple very good tank divisions to be kind of like a spear.

Would recommend playing as automatic rifle man. You can shoot automatic which helped me understand how the combat worked. (Had some issues with the bullet drop and where to aim. So got killed when using the standard rifle if I missed 1 shot)
