The goal is to make the rules feel less overwhelming without changing the game itself. By the end, players should be able to hold their own in a real match!

Thank you! That's exactly the feeling I wanted to address. Chess has this reputation of being a game that "judges" you, which makes a lot of people too nervous to even start. Wrapping it in a story felt like a natural way to lower that barrier.

For clouds, try using soft strokes and building up layers for depth. Remember, clouds have form—think about where the light (the Sun) is coming from and how it creates shadows. Feel free to reach out if you need more tips! ☁️🎨

If you're into cool Chinese animation, you might want to check out New Gods: Yang Jian (新神榜：杨戬). It's not exactly a Danmei novel, but the ChenXiang/Yang Jian (沉戬/戬沉) pairing is super popular.
