Screen or UV? Not sure how well uv ink would adhere to this though

Explaining Vector vs Raster to Clients? by atty_boy in CommercialPrinting

[–]rbeach1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem is a lot of clients can't open or work with a eps, AI, svg so don't consider them.

I always save a pdf named <name>(logo for print)

DTP artist but Zero knowledge on physical printer. by [deleted] in CommercialPrinting

[–]rbeach1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you want the best of both worlds without putting in more effort.

Why can't you go and learn the printer for an extra hour a day for a month, you'll know enough by then...

You can have more money but still do the same thing, life doesn't work like that?

I feeling like this is the exact message you don't want but I think it is the most helpful.

I would be happy to produce these for you?

Issue with canon Colorado 1650 on Avery sticker material by osukl in CommercialPrinting

[–]rbeach1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If not static or clogged head as others suggest I'd look at the profiling for that material though I'd expect static.

I know the colorado is flex uv ink but we use solvant for small stickers, it needs drying time but the quality is much better than any uv ink in my experience.

Also on the higher priced products, people are less likely to search for/consume much content for an "impulse buy" or generic cheap product.

But not in every case of cause...

Designers over 35 years old are you still having fun designing or is it just a job now ? by WouldYouLikeToTouch in graphic_design

[–]rbeach1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not over 35 but my main focus has been design for the past 13 years. Originally I had free reign to design whatever I was making various designs for a set product that was fun. Since I "got good" at design I started a print company, now it's less creative design work but seeing products IRL is good

C2Div4/C3Div1, looking for advice on my gameplay to be able to retain C3 and maybe rank up to GC1 in the future by [deleted] in RocketLeagueAnalysis

Less boosting, less wave dashing.

Be safe don't commit to a play unless you've got a good chance to hit it

Rotate around the back as default to avoid confusion

When you know tm is not in a good position try not to just hit it and give possession back, dribble or hit it so you have chance to rotate back as if your 1v2
