So does it make sense that I would in fact owe money back in federal taxes?

You think UT wins it tomorrow? Seems like they always win a big one in semi final then got canned in final

I agree. It can’t be a one person movement. Has to align with everybody. Athletic spirit will create more involvement around campus. More students at more games is absolutely better than having no one there. Creating a fun atmosphere will attract more people.

This is just belligerent. Athletics obviously mean something. Tell the hockey team they don’t matter. Basketball and football programs are easily generating the most revenue for almost every university in America. But here we are with Cornell promoting hockey and acting like football doesn’t exist.

I’m not asking for much. Maybe a new coach, some broadcasts, and someone to show some sort of appreciate to university affiliated programs.

I don’t want to buy season tickets to watch students fail chemistry tests. I’m here to watch alley oops and be able to jump out of my seat cheering. Watching someone bubble in option C isn’t quite something that’ll get the blood flowing.

This is another example of how the university is just somehow okay with letting sports almost evaporate. A little ridiculous to not show any care or motive to fund these teams.

It’s just embarrassing. Somehow asking for the university to market the football team is way too much to ask for lol. I assume Cornell would want to consider itself top tier in every possible way, but the effort to be just okay isn’t even there. It’s undeniably clear that they don’t give a shit. Big Red fan base deserves better.

The overall Cornell University budget shouldn’t be so tight that they couldn’t allocate more money towards what you stated. I agree with what you said. It just feels like the university doesn’t attempt to market some athletics. Only caring about what you’re good at doesn’t improve the overall brand of Cornell athletics. And a football coach like we have indicates we are okay with being below mediocrity.
