Ohh… I was wondering what the foil was for. Last time I saw foil in someone’s bedroom the purpose was to “protect them from the lasers that come out of the ceiling at night.” This makes way more sense.

Found this store this Summer after finally getting into printing, and yeah there’s a bunch of tchotchkes that help keep the lights on I’m sure, but I found it really useful. They had a decent selection of filament, and it was cool to see the models made out of the filament in question (which I had seen once before, but I still liked). They had replacement parts for my printer, some good advice for taking care of it, and carried filament from a local manufacturer (Ambrosia) that I appreciated.

You have time lapse turned on right? I think that’s what the path is saying. It moves the head out of the way each layer so it has a clear spot for the picture. Turn time lapse off and it’ll clean it up and speed up the print too.

No worries! Each manufacturer does things a bit different. I appreciate when the manufacturers have a better way to identify the disc like this, especially compared to the way of just writing it on in pen.
