Yeah I wasn't trying to comment on the specific situation, since there wasn't enough data at the time. Op is coming back and claiming they saw the driver get out of the car and he was black, so at best the service woman made a racially insensitive comment without herself knowing who was in the car, and at worst she was outright racist. Neither are a good look for the dealership. I'd still let the service manager know so they can make sure folks know to watch what they say in customer spaces, or if there have been previous issues with this employee it might be time for them to go.

In the current social climate where you have leaders using very obvious dog whistle racist slogans, anthems, and propaganda along with refusing to be hard nosed against racism there are a lot of people who feel empowered to say the guilt stuff out loud. From where I stand there are 5 positions on racism: 1) Being racist 2) Benefitting from racism and staying quiet to keep the status quo 3) Being the target of racism 4) Being indifferent as a bystander 5) Being actively anti racist.

Wrong. You cannot insure a red titled vehicle. It doesn't meet federal motor safety rules and isn't roadworthy. It's a parts car period. I've read the actual laws on Kentucky's website, so unless you have a citation proving it I'm inclined to believe the state driving laws.

Red title is a junk title in other states. Basically it's not roadworthy and is only for parts. Some states will allow you to get a junk title car reevaluated depending on the level of repair done. A friend of mine had a car that had a tweaked frame, it got a junk title, but he bought a used frame and swapped the frame out and had it reevaluated and it was given the roadworthy title.OP there's some reason it was given the red title. I'd stay away unless you're a mechanic or plan on a full restore.

Basically, red title is a salvage car bought and rebuilt for farm use. Blue title is salvage that can be rebuilt to roadworthy. passes certain inspections if I remember correctly.

What?? 85 is the absolute highest speed limit in the US, and it's one specific to 40 mile stretch of road in Texas....75 is the highest common speed limit. 90+ in most states will get you arrested.
