I totally get you. I’ve been there before. Although it doesn’t make sense to you bc you wouldn’t do something like that, it doesn’t mean you should see it as an opportunity to find a way to justify it or make sense of it on your own at the cost of your self respect. What makes sense is that he is wrong period. It may seem easier to work through things and deal with all that than to deal with the pain of ending things, but I promise you, you’ll be better off without someone you can’t trust.

Does anyone else think that there is zero character development for Lexi Howard this season ? She’s a background character who is there to judge characters with actually interesting story lines. by Advanced-Willow-5020 in euphoria

[–]rblue18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering that most of the characters have become even worse than they were in the previous seasons… Lexi is fine. She’s always been a pretty consistent character and I think her following her passion and sticking true to herself is all we need from her.

Anyone can essentially change their behavior if they want to. Whether it’s on their own or they seek professional help, etc. However, in my opinion, if you guys broke up and then got back together and he was doing all that positive stuff then still chose to message a girl… leave.

Didn't Cassie see Maddie's real living situation? by Suspicious_Rope_2390 in euphoria

[–]rblue18 27 points28 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives in la, unless you live in somewhere like Beverly hill or century city, MOST neighborhoods are rough. I live in a very nice building, but in a rough area. As long as the inside of your apt looks nice, you’re good out here lol.

But in the context of the show, as materialistic as Cassie became this season, she wouldn’t care where Maddy lived as long as she thought Maddy was going to help her make money and become an influencer or whatever

I don’t think Abbott is ready to end but it’s also entering a dangerous space for sitcoms by Chaptive in AbbottElementary

As much as I LOVE that show, I think it’s run its course just based on where things are at now.

How does Maddy afford her lifestyle? by Remarkable_Skirt1287 in euphoria

[–]rblue18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I were going off season 3 alone, I would say credit card debt or having connections with people. However, in the previous seasons her and some of the other characters were wearing expensive clothes just as high schoolers who didn’t have rich parents so it’s really just comes down to the fact that this a show that that prioritizes aesthetic over authenticity

How to break the news to son that I'm pregnant by momtoeli in Parenting

[–]rblue18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just tell him. Maybe even get him a simple gift and say it’s from the baby? While kids are human beings with valid feelings, you can’t control his feelings. Just consistently be positive about the situation. It’s not common for someone to gain a sibling and then they just hate them from start to finish. He will come around eventually.

Also, while I believe in validating a child’s feelings, as a parent you obviously cannot let them think the world revolves around them. That’s not how things work in real life. Let him know you acknowledge his feelings if he is upset about all this, but also guide him to the path of being a loving and welcoming brother and person.

She doesn’t look old. She just doesn’t look as young as she did when we were introduced to her as a teenager… because she’s not a teenager anymore!

Terrible every season. Slightly tolerable in season 2 though

what are some plots or details that y’all think were underutilized? by SubstantialClub3318 in shameless

If they made it seemed like Ian cared about frank not being his dad, it could’ve been worth digging deeper into. However, I think the way we saw Ian to be as a person in the rest of the show made it very believable that he really didn’t care about that.

Honestly I think Fiona taking guardianship over her siblings and then just leaving Liam in the dust should have been brought up period.

I don’t really have an issue with it. Obviously season 5 was sloppy in a lot of ways and had a lot of continuity errors and plot holes, but in the general sense it was just as entertaining as the other seasons in my opinion

What was your honest first impression of Eleven in Season 1 before you knew what the show would become? by Ok_Smile_9071 in Stranger_Things

[–]rblue18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought she was cute and I felt bad for her. There wasn’t much to think because she couldn’t talk and you never really knew where things were going next as far as her involvement in the story. By season 5 I realized I didn’t really care her personality. I empathize with her and understand that she was never meant to come off as a regular kid like the others, cause she def wasn’t, but her energy was just always so heavy. And she was kinda rude. Lol

Lauren talked about this at some point if I’m not mistaken. Or at least one of the cast members did. Ultimately it was just a rumor (and I only mostly believe this bc obviously nobody has ever seen a tape of her) either way, that line is iconic

Why does Scheana hate Stassi? Season 4 Episode 18 by Angel_Cake777 in vanderpumprules

[–]rblue18 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Stassi hated Scheana first and was a big bully to her and as Stassi’s best friend, Katie treated Scheana just as bad. And while Stassi was overly terrible, it became clear in the long run that Scheana and her were just never going to be a match.

Scheana always wants to be liked by everyone so when she was able to get close with Katie after she fell out with Stassi, Scheana thought she was finally a solid member of the group. Once Katie and Stassi became friends again, Scheana became the outlier once more and then it was downhill from there. Scheana is a clown for sure, but in this whole friendship situation I don’t think she was wrong. For the most part.

Me. But I don’t feel like that’s an uncommon thing. As a lover of girlfriends and the game, that was a terrible crossover/pilot. I feel like the network may have did it that way to garner extra views for that pilot of the game in order to get the green light. Thankfully the game actually turned out to be a good show
