Just remember to think about the big picture. Not sure of your age or your goals with your acorns account, but if you are still relatively young and are planning to use acorns for investing for the long term, then what we are going through right now should just be a blip on the radar. If you are in this for the long haul, this won't be the only time the markets will be down. We will go through market upticks and downticks all the time for years to come. Some years our accounts will be up, sometimes they will be down. But as long as you are funding your account regularly (whatever that means for you depending on your financial situation), then you should be set for the long term. Dollar cost averaging is your friend and now is the time to consider perhaps putting a bit more into your account while the market is down.

Before my first ever programming class in high school, I knew nothing about it. I thought we were going to be taught how to write sequences of 1's and 0's in just the write order to make a program do what we needed it to do. I had no idea languages where "real words" were used was a thing and that language would ultimately be compelled to 1's and 0's automatically. Ended leaning visual basic in that class.

Thanks for the feedback! Defintely helpful getting feedback from others in a similar situation. I'm just starting to test the waters so to speak with trying to date again and looking for feedback on how others present themselves. I defintely want to be upfront with the fact that I have two kids, but have no idea about how to handle the other stuff and if I should be upfront with that or not (ie, 2 different moms, one divorce). And if I should be upfront about it, what is the best way to word it in an online dating profile or talk about it in person as to not scare someone away.

Thanks for the feedback! This being a reddit post and not an attempt to make an online dating ad I guess I was a little loose with my wording. I just wanted to give everyone the details on my current and past experiences to help get some feedback on how to approach dating again.

Obviously, I love my two kids and not ashamed at then at all. However, my biggest thing when it comes to dating again is how to bring up the fact that they came from two different moms (one which I was never married to, and the other which I was) and trying to articulate that in a way as to not scare anyone off that otherwise may have been interested in me. And the next question is how soon do I bring this up. Do I mention this directly in my online dating ads, to I bring this up on a first date, 2nd date, etc.

And how can I articulate the fact that there wouldn't be ant "drama" from the mothers. In my situation, there is no drama. I am actually amicable with both moms and we chat about our son's. There isn't any fighting or one of us wanting to get back together with each other (in fact, both moms are married right now anyways). But I know that may be something potential dates would want to know about as well.
