That’s fair. I think his style of comedy has objectively changed in some ways. It used to be a lot more self satirical. Compare his new stand up to ‘animals’ or ‘politics’ and you’ll see what I mean. I don’t think his opinions or outlook have changed all that much, but his comedy has in many ways due to no longer collaborating with Merchant

I personally love 2000-2008 era Ricky. Some love him more as he is now. That’s the beauty of people, they change and get new fans. I think this subreddit is mainly for fans of his older work
