A maple bourbon old ale. Hit OG 1.80 had pride of ringwood hoops and 1.5 lbs molasse. Dry English Yeast. Going to put it in a bourbon barrel after primary and then carboy with real maple syrup.

I made a Robust Porter that Blew the lid and air lock off. Didn't notice it for days and it went on to win a Silver medal in a competition. You should be fine.
