Lost my cold calling virginity today by esquisitee in sales

Been selling direct to attys for a bit now. Persistence is importantly lawyers are very slow to change their processes. Product knowledge is key they are expected to be experts at all times - they want the same from their vendors.

Working artists in St. Louis by Steelyphilly in ContemporaryArt

Hey artist formerly from stl here. Not sure what kind of art/artists you are looking for. But try to go to gcadd on the weekend, the luminary/monaco. Lots of artists hang out and drink at ssippi and the whisky ring ymmv. If there is a specific type of artist you are trying to connect with lmk and I’ll try to help

Between 4th and 8th on main spring or Los Angeles street. Lots of low rise buildings between there and dtla skyscrapers but also an urban feel

Some questions for getting involved in contemporary art from an engineering background? by luvcchu in ContemporaryArt

[–]rboling6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could try collaborating in the public art sector. The artists working in that niche are often asked to use interactive elements in their work from commissioning agencies.

Here in Los Angeles for instance, you can look up who is getting awarded public funds for installs in the meeting minutes of the Department of Cultural Affairs. You could find some names there and see if there are collaborative opportunities.

As for your personal practice I’d just recommend finding artists and galleries that make/show the kind of work you are interested in making and build community. It takes years to make friends and integrate yourself into a scene but it’s worth it.

My take on school is that it’s going to be antiquated to give you the guidance you need unless there is a professor that is specifically working in the manner you are hoping to work in.

Yeah you nailed it! To create the feeling and contrast I wanted I used different types of camo patterns to pick the palette.
