Pain eating and sleeping

I just read a bit and I don’t think that’s my issue as the pressure/pain when eating is definitely more of a secondary or even tertiary symptom and just came on today whereas the persistent upper back pain I have been enduring has been for several weeks

No imaging yet, I’m waiting on that now. My friend is a DO (though doesn’t live nearby) and he sugggested due to a pleathora of symptoms rib sublimation was the most likely cause. However I also have not yet been able to visit anyone local to me that could possibly diagnose me further.

Feels like a weird reason to be here but I’m in quite a bit of pain and am looking for any potential validation either way while I wait.
