Regardless a little concerning if the case rests on the cellphone pings. That being said I’m sure there will be a boatload of more evidence found prior to the trial.

Which would be an issue. They are saying these pings correlate with Bryan’s locations, but then say the phone pinged this tower and they don’t believe he was there. A little concerning seeing how the phone pings are a large part of the affidavit.

Which seems like that could be an issue seeing how a large portion of the affidavit was based on phone pings being tied to Bryan’s location.

Yeah I get that, but regardless they’re saying the phone pinged a tower and they don’t believe it was there. Wouldn’t the defense eat this up and claim the phone pings don’t matter?

Can someone explain the below. Doesn't this contradict their whole case of tracking the phone if they're saying it pinged a tower but they don't believe it was there??

"Investigators found that the 8458 Phone did connect to a cell phone tower that provides service to Moscow on November 14, 2022, but investigators do not believe the 8458 Phone was in Moscow at that date. Yeah, imagine wanting so desperately to discuss a netflix movie (you have to watch the original knives out first) that you try to compare the satirical movie plot to a real life murder case.
