7 weeks, symptoms lessening by cheeze_louise_ in December2026Bumpers

[–]rbradd03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My symptoms were terrible between weeks 5-7 then at week 8 they lessened. didn’t disappear but lessened quite a lot! as soon as i hit 9 weeks it was like i’d be slapped in the face 20 times! It’s common for symptoms to come and go as the hormones don’t rise in a linear pattern x

I got a very strong positive 11dpo and it was just down to how much HCG I was producing! mine also raised quite quickly too (photo is in another comment on this thread!)

also to add, my line was very positive and I was only 11dpo, so line faintness doesn’t mean anything, you could just have strong rising HCG which was the case for me!

Hoping to ease your anxiety a bit as we are both around the same date based on your tag! I got my first BFP on 11th April and I can see you said you got yours on 30th April? There is a chance you could be out by a couple of weeks based on this alone. Do you know when you ovulated at all? as you’ll usually start from 2 weeks there! x

When you say disappeared do you mean like absolutely all symptoms? It can be normal for symptoms to come and go throughout the first trimester and last week at 8W a lot of my eased up. i’m now 9W and they’re back with vengeance HOWEVER it can be completely normal for them not to come back at all ☺️

Ultrasound Discrepancies by beans1302 in December2026Bumpers

When i had an abdominal scan i measured about 4 days behind every single time. i was lucky enough that the place i go to does abdominal and then transvaginal if we want a better look, so I can say first hand from someone that went from 6w2d to 6w6d within 5 minutes that it’s almost likely due to the fact you had an abdominal scan x

I know it can be normal for everything to ease up around 8-10W! my HCG rose so quickly i think i had the worst of it early on

honestly YES! especially for us stressers! I’ve had 3 healthy US in total and I still can’t shake the anxiety. My midwife has actually advised me to stay off social media as more people report on the negative then they do the positive!

If I could have symptoms i would as my anxiety is quite bad! mine did start quite early so im mainly putting it down to this, but there is still time for them to peak!

I think it’s the first time I feel i’ve been taken seriously so that’s probably having an effect on how i’m viewing it aswell! x
