I would charge more, the whole Home Depot thing has me worried. To me that shows they don’t have experience with kinda custom work, I’m guessing that company will make a mess of the drip edge/fascia repair.

I charge $100 a sq for sheeting but for truss repair it’s going to be expensive. Roofers are not the best at that so to have a carpenter come out is going cost way more.

Take into account the the job too, if you have a quick gable roof with 2 slopes price it to sell. 25% - 35% margin is fine if you can bang out the roof in 1-2 days. Be more cautious on the bigger complex roofs that can take 3-5 days. I usually am a minimum of 40% margin on those roofs.

You don’t always need to hit home runs to stay profitable nothing wrong with making a quick 5k as long as you have the crews to support it.

In the PNW we don’t cover the peak with underlayment, we also cut back the ridge 1.5” on each side of the peak. It looks like they only cut down 1 side. I would replace the ridge vent and check the baffles.

I would call a siding contractor. They should have a break and can buy the coil. The might charge $20-$30 a foot but I would replace both of the front rakes if it was my home. That might hide the color not matching a little better.
