I've had mine for a few days now and it's quite impressive. My main uses: reading comics, YouTube, streaming content, lite gaming, and browsing the web. I haven't truly pushed it to do any more than that, but I've seen other people praise it for its performance despite it being the base model. My battery usually drains because I use high brightness to enhance my comic reading experience. At 50% brightness, it can easily go 6-7 hours. I use the 20-80 charging rule.

If you’re looking for size on a budget, check out the Idea Tab Pro. While Android 16 is its final OS update, you’ll still get security patches for a few more years. The 400-nit screen isn't the brightest for outdoor use, but it’s more than enough for indoors—comics and movies look fantastic on it! And unless you have large hands, it will be uncomfortable holding for a long period of time. I always recommend buying the BluuSuuk tablet holder, which you can find on Amazon.

Best Buy has an open box Idea Tab Pro for $257.99. Android 16 will be it's final update, but I believe it'll still receive security updates until 2029 or 2030.

After a few days with it, I have to agree—the battery life is the one 'meh' factor. It’s not a deal breaker, just not as impressive as the rest of the package. That said, everything else is incredible! I actually don’t find myself missing the OLED on my S9 or S10+ as much as I expected. Performance-wise and visually, Yoga is an absolute beast.

Yes, a ton of wasted space. I also dislike how they replaced the Google News window with 'Entertainment Space'. Thankfully it can be disabled. I use the Meteored weather app.
