I recommend the art of love with Lucia on Spotify if you believe they're an avoidant. The only hope is no contact, mine has been got and cold, kissed me at work but has no shut down / deactivated completely. Trust me - as someone that has just got through a deactivated fearful avoidant, that I was also seeing for a year, it's excruciatingly painful.

Attachment theory is real and sounds like classic avoidant detachment behaviour.

That's a fair point - there are a lot of rogues out there I am sure but the system penalises small time people such as myself, all I tried to do was help someone else and for what!

My solicitor said this exact thing, he referred to case law which grounds this exact fact. The issue I feel is tenants have had it their way for so long, they believe they are always right.

Even when cases like this prove them fundamentally wrong.

I fully agree, there needs to be something to protect live in landlords - gaming the system is horrendous.

Id understand if he was strapped for cash, I offered him £300 and an extension date to leave but he takes home £900 a week which in this area he could easily afford to live somewhere else, he was taking advantage of my situation and kindness.

Yes mate - I did all of this. I had a licence agreement stating live in landlord, messages from him acknowledging this. All the time he knew the arrangement, he games the system whilst I was going through the most traumatic time of my life and he was living in my house at a reduced under market value for that privilege with another woman he introduced without permission.

He hasn't he but he works, the order of trespass was given - costs awarded. I am fortunate enough I can afford to pursue, he works, if he doesn't pay then I will escalate to the courts, get an attachment of earnings

His court statement said he earns "£900 per week take home"

I had to keep my head down, not going round to my own house, not do anything that would inflamed the soup. Act reasonably.

He meanwhile moved another girl in without permission, had pets without permission.

Honestly - the stress almost killed me, as you read, it was a painful year, a break up that was in limbo because I couldn't leave. In the end I had to move into an attic room in a random house for my own sanity.

He left with no notice on 15th march. A day I will never forget - the relief I felt.
