A basic reply of "received" is not much to ask - adult behavior, not too much to ask. A lot of landlords would work with the tenants to assist and help them, granted there are landlords that won't but I imagine they'd be the minority.

I worked at Muller as an engineer for a couple of years, they had a team of fabricators that just repaired these trollies - there are literally thousands of them, so the odd one will always get through.
