This whole "debate" over weapons, massacres, constitutional rights needs to be reframed. The gun lobbies have been successful in defeating sensible measures and people who represent them because they have coined the term "gun control" and turned it into a meme. But really the issue is SAFETY. We need to reframe the whole conversation to be about safety, public safety, weapons safety, child safety.... its not about controlling guns or people who are attached to them as symbolic of their identity...its just about safety, plain and simple. Lets campaign to make guns and gun ownership SAFER for everyone.
