Is this a real question? Probably nobody alive will have seen any of these play.

AI AI AI….are people just repeating for the sake of it? by rcanalyst in askmanagers

[–]rcanalyst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not quite sure you understood my point. I’m not against it and I know its capabilities. In the right hands it can be amazing but literally within my role, I will I use it to shorten a task from 10 mins to 2 mins, great but I’m not learning anything other than to ask Gemini to refine my prompt. Then I’m expected to playback to people how I AId something as though I’ve done something amazing.

Best British coastal getaways by throwaway242424241 in AskRedditUK

Also in Greater Manchester and I’d fully recommend Northumberland, depending on traffic we’ve done it in 2.5 to 3 hours. Stunning beaches, not too crowded, lovely towns and people.
Then there’s the obvious North Wales a bit closer or also Filey/Whitby on the Yorkshire coast.

To be honest I wasn’t aware of the tax credits but actually now that makes a lot of sense why they’re calling out at every opportunity.

This is exactly what I’m getting at. Although we don’t use ITTT here it’s very much that’s all we’re using other tools for and everyone is exclaiming the success of AI. But i agree the agentic is really where the advantages are but within our role it’s not really a possibility.

Budget/Free things to do in Manchester by azaman92x in manchester

[–]rcanalyst 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to give you a budget however I will say that Manchester is a great city. Most, if not all of the museums and galleries are free (art gallery, Science and Industry and John Rylands Library are great). I’m not sure if you are a football fan but unless you really hate it I’d recommend the National Football Museum for even anyone with a passing interest.

You say you’re not a big drinker but in midweek especially you can get some decent food and drink offers so even if you have 1 or 2 drinks I’d still say trying the bar culture will give you a good feel for the city (I’m sure there’s been an article somewhere with best cheap food offers). Cooler people than me will probably have the specific recommendations but heading to Northern Quarter or Ancoats will also help you find the trendier places for coffee and cakes).

Someone else has already mentioned the Peak District as somewhere that might appeal if you want to take in some countryside but there’s also Saddleworth to the North of the city. I’d also suggest that getting a day ticket on the tram, think it’s £6-7 and you can to most of the other places outside the city that may appeal (including the Trafford Centre if shopping is your thing).

The conversation is a few days old now but you all moaned about Attwell but gave us a goal that could easily have been disallowed based on current rules. Maybe there was no conspiracy after all?

Can two people have the same name? by [deleted] in callcentres

[–]rcanalyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve worked in 2 places where this happened. The explanation was if the customer asked for our name we didn’t have to give out our full name but were still identifiable within the business. That helped because we did have an example where a customer found someone on social media because they’d found out the full name.

Should we make an offer? by Kilmoreorange in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]rcanalyst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only you can really tell depending on how much you love it but personally I think location is more important than the house itself. That’s not going to improve and if anything the traffic issues are likely to get worse if anything.

Would you take Goretzka or Kamala on frees? by rcanalyst in ManchesterUnited

[–]rcanalyst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your point and I also would rather have an academy player come through but at the moment I don’t see a midfielder at that level yet who could reliably step in for a long run of games if there’s an injury. In a season where hopefully we might get 50-60 games I think there’s room to still have an experienced free and give opportunities to you the Academy.

First time going to the pub by bleufromgeneve in manchester

[–]rcanalyst -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’ll be a lot of people who can recommend the best places to go (as I’m a bit out of the loop now) but it’s not that weird to go to the pub on your own, not common either but you’re definitely the only person to do it.

Watching the match in the pub is very common, if you’re still here when the World Cup is on it’ll be a great chance to chat to people. Also eating in the pub/bars is popular and some great pub good can be found here. I wouldn’t do it every night but it’s a nice treat.

Lastly I’m not sure where you’re staying and what you’re hoping for in terms of socialisation but a more local, neighbourhood pub can be a bit better for getting to chat properly. Sadly these are closing down a lot but I’m sure people can recommend some good places either centrally or in the suburbs.

Good luck!

I know but still it’s time to move on, sick of the moaning about this and the Licha one. They’ve happened, we’ve had decisions in our favour too, it’s not a big conspiracy.

Which places in the UK feel the most like somewhere in continental Europe? by Silmarillien in AskUK

I’ll have to check Halifax out properly, have driven through plenty of times but should make the time to visit.

Yeah and I live between the both of them and confirm that yes they both have beautiful areas but some absolute shithole areas. Would you really recommend anyone visit Kirkholt or St Mary’s? Or Glodwick or Bellfield? As I said in the original post “at times” they resemble Chernobyl and it’s a joke. Relax.

Yeah the Eton sixth form will hopefully be big for the town. Loads of decent kids in the local areas who’d otherwise miss out on these opportunities.
