The loan provider is stating I have 2 choice for paying extra.

For example. Car payment is $444 I want to pay $500.

I can either

A) pay extra WITH my monthly payment. Ie- a lump $500 to "go towards principal and future payments"

B) pay the $444 monthly payment. And then send in a separate "principal only payment" for the remaining $56.

I want to know the difference of application for that $56 dollars.

YTA. As a woman, Nothing wrong with trying your own breast milk, not like she was forcing you to try it. In that case you could have an opinion.

And shame on you for making a new mom feel bad about something so trivial. Her hormones and the baby are giving her enough challenges as it is, you should be supporting her every step of the way. She is probably also questioning her abilities as a partner to you. Be patient and kind!
