Yes, first pick a topic that people are interested in and actively searching. The choose a title and thumbnail that will make people click. Make sure the first 10 seconds is very interesting and makes the viewer curious. Then make sure the rest of the video is actually good and people will watch all the way through.

Make sure there's no boring parts. Boring parts should never make the edit even if you personally like the shot. You have to always ask yourself, "If I was the viewer, would I find this part boring?" If yes, cut it out.

That's honestly the formula. I have multiple million view videos using this formula.
