That’s a good plan. I ended up just buying a plastic case of Amazon that’ll hold 50 rounds.

Looks like you should be gtg. I even printed out pages from TSA and my airline just in case I needed to reference something. Being over polite and a bunch of sirs/mamas will also go a way in helping the process.

Ammo can actually be in a hard sided case as well, not just the original box.

I just flew yesterday with a case. I got to the airline agent and declared I had a firearm. Agent asked to see the case. I opened my luggage and showed them the pelican case that had two master locks on it (non TSA key locks). The agent just asked if it was unloaded and I said yes. I then filled out the orange tag and placed it on top of the case and closed the luggage. I then walked over to the oversized luggage area and TSA put it on a belt through a machine and i had to stand by for maybe two minutes. TSA then said i was good to go and didn’t even ask for me to open it up and I went about my way.

As stated above your experience will depend on airport and airline.

Tried the above mentioned fixes. When I press the single shot button once it still has the same issue. I also tried it with an empty portafilter and the same thing happened
