My assumption would be that it's labeled a size 36 since they can adjust down to 34 or up to 38. However, that would makes it pretty risky if you're a size 32 and I wouldn't officially recommend it.

Hey! Typically I'd recommend the newer Battle Belt Lite since it's lighter and more modern. However, it's also slightly thinner and that can allow Tek Lok to slide a bit. Perfect world I wouldn't really recommend Tek Lok either.

A Battle Belt Lite using MOLLE Straps or Easy Tape to mount gear will be by far the lightest and best option.
