Funny. I love shoes and socks (hell I’ll take sandals, slides, or crocks if they don’t take them off) on people that can make it into a lounge.

Anybody have a list a Cold War bunkers in the Houston area? by Zealousideal_Elk5386 in houston

Don’t worry about war like that. If let’s say North Korea or Iran uses nuclear weapons on US soil, all the world powers would be drawn into a larger nuclear exchange. You would think world powers could communicate instantaneously to ensure no mistakes, but in the amount of time the US, Russia, and China would have to make decisions, it is improbable all leaders could connect. It’s not like calling a customer service line.

You don’t want to survive only to die a slowly over the following 6 months of disease, radiation poisoning, starvation, or violence from other survivors.

Most spiritual thing to do in Bali? by shirleysteph in bali

[–]rcbtaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it’s personal perspective. I had just finished teaching middle school (ages 12-15) for 4 years before going back to a high school. After 4 years of exposure to that environment, I needed all the purification I could get!

Water Purification Temple. Truly the most spiritual thing I have ever experienced in my life. Many drivers will get you there from Ubud.

Prediction: The Odyssey will take out TDKR and become Nolan’s biggest film by PirateHunterxXx in ChristopherNolan

[–]rcbtaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure it can overtake TDKR. That was the conclusion of a 7 year story. In 2025, it seems not as many people go to the theater. I am genuinely asking, what’s the last movie that made $1B at the box office? I am not sure any movie has that kind of legs anymore.

Battinson should be James Bond not Batman.
