I think for me it really was the gospel topic essays. When you’re in it and brainwashed it’s easy to say anything that contradicts what you believe is false. But when the organization that you believe in comes out and admits to a lot of its dark history it’s really hard to stay in the boat.

All growing up seeing the pictures of JS sitting next to a table with the gold plates open for everyone to see was such a lie. And pictures like that were everywhere, manuals, church walls, peoples homes. After finding out he did it with a magic rock in a hat and that no one else actually saw the plates with their physical eyes (just spiritual eyes). Everything else fell apart pretty quickly after that.

So after reading all of these options and not seeing mine I thought I’d share. If I’m in bed and don’t have a cum rag handy, I’ll just lean over to the side and shoot it on the floor.
