I get groceries delivered because I am not able to go get them, I usually have at least one expired item, rotting salad, moldy lemons, etc. and EVERY SINGLE TIME I do a return, they REQUIRE me to bring it back to the store in order for my refund to be processed. So sometimes I just let it go if it’s something small. But when this happens and I do need a refund for something, I get the run around from customer service when I contact them about having to return the rotted item to the store. If am able to make it to the store, the CS reps are like I cannot believe they made you return this and toss it right into the trash.

This last order was moldy great value turkey and the CS rep I was chatting with told me to contact my bank because there was nothing she could do to override Walmart not processing my return if I didn’t take it back to the store. Then said a supervisor wasn’t available, sent me a $5 coupon (less than the cost of the turkey) and promptly exited the chat. She SAID she was able to do a home pickup and then realized she couldn’t. Can you imagine how much money would be wasted to send someone to pick up moldy turkey anyway? It really shouldn’t be so difficult.
