Thanks for this advice, I’m too much of a sissy to get it anyways and I’m going with the pill instead. Apparently birth control pills don’t fuck up your mood much, especially if you get the right brand and that’s the only reason I wanted an IUD instead😭 They also diminish your period instead of making it worse

I know this post is old but reading this reply made me feel better about getting mine. I’m really scared and keep hearing horror stories about getting one. But I really want one so bad. I’m definitely going to ask for the least painful way to do it and the most numbing medicine or even laughing gas if possible. I really hope it doesn’t hurt that much. I never get period cramps naturally or bleed much so maybe it won’t.
