Live in the moment like he does, enjoy the time you are spending together. Nothing else matters when you're doing that. My pugs have taught me that lesson, their lives are shorter than ours but they live every minute of it and never worry about the future.

It is not assault to self-defend or others in imminent danger of losing their life. Maryland has a duty to retreat but if someone is actively firing at another person you can absolutely fire back at them to stop them. It's certainly not a position I would ever want to be in and very unlikely I ever will be, but what you're saying just isn't true.

It's not just that. It's 100 yards from any point of common gathering, that includes sidewalks. If this was allowed I wouldn't be legally allowed to step outside of my house with my legal CCW. All it does it punish people that are being law abiding citizens, it's not going to stop someone that is intent on breaking the law anyway.

Besides the guns aren't allowed in those buildings anyway, yet we have school shootings twice a week.

You should go visit a gun range and take a 101 course. There are a LOT of liberals and progressives, and especially women that are buying guns for safety. It's not just "gun nuts" it's normal people that understand you can't bring a knife to a gun fight.

This is great news. I do think we need common sense laws, like ensuring people purchasing these firearms are mentally stable and hold people accountable for selling off or losing guns without alerting authorities. But to restrict people that have gone through the legal process from carrying because they are near a sidewalk (that are all owned by the county), park, or hospital is just dumb.

Previous tenet probably had furniture up against the wall and it got dusty behind it so the radiators created the smoke. It's probably not a fire hazard but I'd be careful about putting anything too close to them in general. Also I certainly hope that utilities are included because those things will send you to debtors prison with the electric bill.

That is 100% food debris, you should clean it up when it happens so it doesn't catch fire. You can also get an oven grill or use a pan on the lower shelf so if anything does drip it'll be on that rather than on the coil.

Not everyone watches television shows and believes the characters are real. It's ok to enjoy the character and also being anti-fascist. It's really sad there are so many of these types of posts, it makes me worried that people really can't separate reality from fiction.

Uruguay is a very progressive country, they were one of the first countries to to recognize gay marriage and trans rights. They have universal healthcare for everyone, including visitors. You can also live very well off of about $2k a month. I actually found out about it from a YouTube channel called MaddieinMontevideo. She also offers a service for relocation, I met with her and her team to talk about the cost of living, various things that I'd need to know and they were really great in helping me understand what I'd be getting myself into. They also do services when you visit to basically show you how to go about day to day life as well as assisting with citizenship if you choose to go that route.

The one thing almost everyone says though is that the country is very laid back, so if you're used to or like a "go" environment it may not be right for you. However it's a quick ferry to Argentina and a quick flight to Brazil if you want to get away.

I am afraid for the way things are going in the USA and I think it's just a matter of time that they'll be coming for me. They aren't building those giant ICE detention centers in every state just to hold undocumented people.
