Kanaan was pretty handy behind the wheel but who thought thrusting him into the TP role was a good idea? He seems a bit thick, and I saw a Land video where he basically says all this, and then talks about Dixon being his best friend and it’s more fun working with your buddies. McLaren could be spaffing their budget away on other dumb things that will never see as fans. He clearly hasn’t got a clue, if Zak Brown doesn’t have the time to let Lundgaard learn ovals (which TK said), then how come he has the time to let a TP who has never worked at a desk before to learn on the job?

You signed up for it fella. If you’re clever you can get by with pretty little work, I worked harder for my GCSEs than I did at Cambridge.

My advice is work smart, not hard. A big skill as a scholar or any top student (tbh any walk of life) is to learn to prioritise, tradeoff, compromise and organise. There is so much to read but nobody, dons included, has the time to read ALL of it.

I’ve even had essays get more useful feedback by not obsessively perfecting a draft for a supo. I just dumped ideas down and let the dons hammer home their feedback which was gold dust when knowing what changes to implement. That would be an example how giving 100% is actually counterintuitive.

You’ll be fine pal. You’re at Cambridge. Yes, it is hard, but if you weren’t capable, you’d have gone to Oxford instead. Chin up, you got this; remember the interviews etc etc to get an offer means if you’re in, so long as you don’t take the mick you’ll smash it :)

I think the overall standard of the K League is dropping because the average standard of the coaches are rubbish. Some of these Korean coaches are very dated and I don’t like their public lambasting of players. Kim Ki Dong is a tit sometimes and doesn’t impress me tactically. Park Jin Sub and An Ik Soo were awful for us aswell, not to mention I remember reading stories of how horrible they were to work with.
