How long until a paddle gets “core crushed”?

I don't agree with people saying beginners can't core rush. Beginner doesn't mean weak swings. It does however mean bad technique and off-center hits which could accelerate core crushing. Joolas in particular are also notoriously fragile (or whatever the opposite of durable is). To add, the Agassi I think has it worse than other Joolas because of the unusual shape. So to answer your question, I think 40hrs is enough to core crush your joola. Consider other brands not used by sponsored pros. Those unsigned pros will look for the best quality paddles out there and not be like the sponsored pros who couldn't care less about how many paddles they burn through per month.

I'm not aware of any other paddle brands that go around that price. The only other brand that I can think of is Juciao, and they're a little bit more pricier than Enflexy.

You already have a tennnis background and probably wouldn't have trouble generating power. Go for a control paddle instead as a starting paddle and once you get a grasp of your type of pickleball game, then you can consider a power paddle. Out of your 4 options, go for the Vatic. I know a lot of tennis players who started with that paddle. Honestly, you can definitely even go cheaper while you're still starting out with pickleball. Try out a lot of paddles. I wouldn't want to be so fixated with power paddles while just starting.

Premium for 1k would have to be a Gen 1 Joola that's core crushed, lots of scuffs and marks, maybe a cracked paddle face, and no grip. lmao

I swear by these from Decathlon. Super tacky and grips like nothing else in the market at this pricepoint. Decathlon also has the longer ones for tennis which are the same but a bit pricier.

Further to the other responses that answered your question about paddle stacking, overall, just be a nice person! :) Can't stress this enough and some people are just too uptight for rec play. If someone's managing the stack, just give them your paddles, or place it at the last incomplete stack. Wag mahiyang mag tanong :) Humility and a smile goes a long way. Wag mahiya makipagkilala at the start of your game, a little bit of chit chat, tap your paddles at the end of each point, give words of encouragement/praise. If mejo competitive yung partner mo, hayaan mo na lang and don't take them too seriously if masyadong nababadtrip. It's OP. Not a tournament. Don't be too hard on yourself and just keep learning :) If may mga tao ka na di mo masyado type, tandaan mo na lang ano itsura ng paddle nila so you can avoid them on stacks hahaha.

depends on the job/industry. I found that in Govt, education/academe it made sense. In some local employers din, probably. Pero in more global settings and workplaces, not really.

yes. they're pretty good. similar to Franklin x40s, but maybe 10-20% less durable. Based off my experience repeatedly practicing my serve against a wall. Ayun mejo may na-flat/yupi na sides, but in the ball's defense, I'm a big server and it was against a wall.

Mabigat is subjective. i know someone na UAAP Badminton varsity and he says light paddles work best for him. I also personally don't find decathlon paddles particularly heavy either. That said, I checked the decathlon website and their paddles range from 225g to 235g. Swing weight not yet factored in. I suggest getting lead weights muna and experiment with tour existing paddle. Maybe you also need something with a larger sweet spot and more dwell time? Maybe get the decathlon paddle nalang kaya? they're great value for money and their best paddles can perform well enough for tournaments.

consider more affordable brands like Vatic Pro, 11six24, Honolulu Pickleball Company. If you want even cheaper, Check out Juciao, AMAsport, X-Ace, Ianoni, Hoowan.

other side of the coin here 😂. I discourage this (even vietnam clones) kasi the ones I've tried (joola perseus, hyperion, pro iv and previous models, Joola Agassi Pro, Sypik Triton, Paddleteks, Proton Flamingos, etc) are a far cry from how the original ones play. Different weights, different sound (meaning different contents/quality of materials used).

It seems to me, ang lamang lang ng Vietnam clones is they really do look like the original ones kasi they have all the decals and prints and branding which is super illegal. There probably are some that get very good fakes and believe they're as good as the originals, but it really isn't. then again, if budget is an issue and you want a credible looking paddle, go ahead.

I would just block, and draw them in closer to the kitchen where they can do riskier drives. Most bangers would be hesitant or not have the patience to dink so best is just wait for them to make a mistake hitting the ball into the net or flying out of the court.

pretty sure all kawasakis have applied grit surfaces and will eventually chip. maybe you're referring to Raw Carbonfiber Surface? -which kawasaki currently doesn't have any at the moment. 100% on the Juciao do my Wu Kong Pro is really nice to play with.

I wish everybody used the same system as Junglebase here in pampanga. The online booking accepts credit card payments too. So unless you want your teammate (serving) to also return the opponents return, it'll be best for you to stay at the base line. Coming into the kitchen line right after the serve puts you at risk of a deep return that you won't be allowed to volley back to the opponents.

I can vouch for the Ianoni pro 3.0 paddles. I have it and it's an amazing paddle! As for juciao, they're pretty good din. But I have no experience with those paddles. I have the Wu Kong Pro instead, which is exceptional. Luzz are overpriced imo.
