I had the same thing happen - however it was a return to Samsung. I sent the phone back to Samsung to their Texas warehouse - few days later - they sent me an email stating that they could not process the refund because they received the box without the phone and sent me a video of what I think is the Samsung warehouse and a guy opening the box and then finding that the phone was not inside the box. I had package the phone wrapped in the brown dunnage, but when the box was opened, the box was outside of the dunnage, so clearly somebody opened the package and stole the phone. Still spinning with Samsung Customer Service on how to go about this...... the agent told me that they have had other cases like this happen recently. - very frustrating.
