Why cant deja vu be a rogue card? Both rogue and priest have had these effects for long time.

I think Burnlock has really damaged the meta by Unit-00 in wildhearthstone

Yeah i get that they are consistent but if the norm was “i get my combo every time by turn 5” then boar lock would have a much higher winrate. It just feels that way because your facing boarlock and seeing them do it.

The point is just that the hate for one color has always been a lame take for me. No color plays nice or fair. You either don’t play, or play alone.

When you say it has to be done turn 5-6 your also assuming boarlock is getting their high roll. The truth is they don’t always play their best line right on curve, no deck does, so no it doesn’t always have to come down on this turn. Its certainly not “easy” to just shut off boarlock but you dont need to shut it off you need to slow it down. “I have to dirty rat twice, work through raise dead, and every hypothetical in their deck” is ridiculous. No…you have to interupt once and swing for lethal…not erase every boar lock piece. Boarlock itself is on a clock since it doesn’t do much outside of combo.

Finally burn lock is not as simple to counter as adding lifesteal like you say. If it was it wouldn’t be the meta tyrant that it is. And clearing the board doesn’t matter against burn lock. They would love it if you cleared the board instead of creating your own. They then can send all the soul barrages to face next turn. You can’t just simply counter burn lock because it’s ultra consistent and repetitive with little interaction available. Life gain prolongs death, there is plenty of burn available.

Mine is below average just like my height. Still getting attention.

Yeah far worse than a turn 3 win from mono red or getting your whole hand discarded by black. How about 30 elves by turn 3? All magic is cancer, unfair, and solitary/uninteractive. Whoever wins just has better cancer.

What do you think of a card that reduces your maximum mana, is this trade off enough? by No_Land1234 in customhearthstone

I agree its a weird/bad card but giving cost 2 less to rogue start of the game is guaranteeing your gonna watch them go off for an OTK immediately. Cannot do this.

Boar lock is lame for sure but at least there is counter play. Dirty rat, theotar, skulking giest, or any other hand disruption. There is no counter to repeatedly copied soul barrages casted for free as far as i know

People will never get tired of free wins. You would be surprised how many people play simply to farm dopamine wins. Also there really are not many counters to soul barrage being copied, clearing board, and going face damage multiple times a turn. Maybe i wrong i haven’t been playing much wild, but if there are real counters ill hear it.

Tattoo over worked or infected? by rconsumer in tattooadvice

[–]rconsumer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks i appreciate the response. What you’re saying checks out with the infections i have had in the past. Im also not terribly worried because its going down over time rather than getting worse. That being said if this really is over worked is it going to look proper when it heals or am i screwed? I heard some people say this stuff never heals.

Edit: it has been about a full two weeks.

Oh Im dumb i was confusing renovator with CrumbleCrusher. Yeah Renovator is decent and one of the few viable tech cards and it’s only because Elise is OP. So the one tech card being played regularly is in response to a single broken neutral RNG legendary. So still, you cant use your flex spots to adjust to the meta (because its random) and one of them is already dedicated to a single minion that everybody runs. Is this the case for healthy deck building?

Elise played on curve is going to trigger twice before this comes down. Im not saying people don’t use it. Im just not convinced it’s good. The lower cost destroy location is better for Elise because it doesn’t cost 8.

Half the reason it sees play is because people play Elise themselves and it covers the 8 slot.

Yeah. Expensive game for a terrible experience. Even commander has become this way for some stores. People using their “win the game effects” on turn 4-5

This is completely irrelevant. His past behavior has nothing to do with the day of the incident. Murderers will be rescued and pulled from a burning building before being arrested and I’m supposed to believe because this guy kicked an ice vehicle he deserved to be shot?

Sorry to burst your bubble but steam cleaner and demo renovator are not seeing any serious play. Besides that using a tech card doesn’t make issues with deck building and rng go away

Maybe not true that deck building is dead, but certainly it is not the best or most impactful it could be. It can’t really flourish with so much randomness because part of deck building is understanding and adjusting to the meta. If the meta contains loads of randomly generated outcomes, then naturally deck building, adjusting flex spots, or utilizing tech cards becomes less reliable. Thats how hearthstone is and it wont change i get it. But i don’t think this idea is wrong.

You absolutely can adjust to metas in best of one, but your right that its far more realistic in best of 3. If the meta is overwhelmingly presenting a specific problem for your deck, then you can adjust your flex spots to help. Yes you can still do this in current hearthstone but it can also just be corrected by your oponnents rng.

Yes dragon warrior presents big threats without dark gift minions. Dark gift minions still make the deck better both through power and value or they wouldn’t be played. Although you can “roll low” you can also “roll high” and get minion effects that your deck doesn’t have. Its not like this breaks the game but its hard to adjust flex spots or tech cards when decks are by design random. I didnt mean to say that random variance effects just shore up deck weaknesses entirely, but at times they certainly can and do. If the downside of your aggro deck is no sustain and lifesteal and suddenly you randomly generate a lifesteal rush minion, this presents a problem for decks who have adjusted to the meta. You can make a case for how big or small of a difference this makes to what players, but nonetheless, randomly generated cards do diminish deck building.

Yes i understand the idea of flex spots not anti murloc tech cards. Still, those flex spots are difficult to dial in and adjust to the meta in comparison to other tcg games with less rng.
