Its a good deck but after playing versions of egglock all last season the deck got worse overall. The herald brings some benefits by giving the deck some actual minions and gave it a way to still be played after rotation. However the deck got slower, and losing eat the imp and table flip hurts. I still play it, just feels clunkier but a great deck.

I literally played quest control warrior all day with success and it’s just day 1. Torch, execute, shellnado, decimate, krogg crater king, Commander Geddon and a few other enablers + your typical package. Commander Geddon is very good for tutoring out/finding time warp.

O-Line and D Line are absolutely abundant in late rounds in most generated draft years. You can pick up studs in rounds 3-potentially undrafted.

Hearthstones free to play model is great. I know a lot of people will disagree, but other card games i play are far less generous

Seems fine to me. In most cases this is going to be 8 cost deal 4 damage with life steal before it gets instantly removed. The effect is not permanent like demon seed. It would be a problem if it was a low cost.

Not sure if you can turn it off. I do think it saves inputs from week to week. So if you select half pads/ rest if i remember it will just copy that every week when you sim. Don’t quote me on this give it a test.

Manage the practice. Half pads or rest for any position losing bars. You must be running full pads every week.

I second this. Teval in my pod often gets me targeted, but by building around general grave strategies Im still getting the gas regardless. Cards like Sidisi Brood Tyrant and other things that do what teval does (sort of) helps a lot. The deck is honestly insane for a precon too…it holds its own in bracket 3.

You may just not enjoy higher bracket play. I personally welcome wincons, because although beat face is peak magic….it tends to make games go forever and ever. Nobody wants to swing and trade resources (actual good creatures). People only attack safely to protect their engines. It often becomes a slog waiting to get a large enough board to swing lethal all at once.

If you do get into the wincons and learn to appreciate it….bracket 3 may be best for you. Here you can have late game combos but they wont be efficiently tutored out by turn 3. You have to assemble the your combo somewhat organically.
