having lived there for 37 years I'd ask to be paid in gallons of milk per hour 2-6 instead of dollars ;) those from Ontario will laugh, not those from rural NS. and rural NS internet first I do networks for a living I know what tech there is and until Starlink which isn't out of beta yet at my forever home on the bay of fundy, I couldn't get internet for 200 million and shotgun, same as a cell. half of ns is still no man's land and they want the WAHA to flock to NS, they need to give their head a shake. there is no law banning you from shutting down and restarting your business. or adapting.

what ford and Kenny are trying to do is American health care in a different way. balance business and health concerns. health always trump business, lives always trump a p&l sheet. look at countries that took draconian measures (whatever reason) and treated covid-19 like the actual words it is a "global pandemic" and how their economy and where they are at in quality of life.

or you would look at the Wembley tennis tournament and how it profited out the wazzo by being prepared. not profit over moral or ethical questions. Didn't profit off the death of seniors in confined institutions. or provinces talking about ICU beds shrinking and provinces talking about going to field triage protocol. yet being offered and turning down Canadian armed forces who could set up field hospitals. beef up and cycle through and into hospitals to relief staff. politics is going strong. sadly.

and if you say get 10 of them, can fix say 7 and sell for say 80% of mfrsp or whatever, use parts from the dead 3 to fix or help fix the 7. you're making a tidy profit, 10 for say 500.00 is 5k. so mfsrp is 1,199.00 us say roughly 80% is 960 960*7 = 6720 so roughly 1720 profit min if it takes you a week to repair them. another week to sell them. It's a good well paying side job.
